Looking to expand your compensation career and make an impact? Rapid7 is looking for our next Compensation Manager to join the Total Rewards team. This unique opportunity is perfect for a team player ready to join an amazing company with an award-winning culture to match. In this high visibility role, you'll build and manage sustainable compensation programs globally in a fast-paced, rapid growth culture. You’ll also partner and collaborate with the entire global Total Rewards and People Strategy teams, while working with other internal stakeholders such as Finance and Business Operations on diverse projects with significant impact on the business. This role reports directly to the VP of Total Rewards.
In this role you will:
Design, evaluation, and implementation of compensation programs globally to support Rapid7’s diverse workforce of roles including product, software engineering, marketing, and sales. Consult with leaders at all levels of the organization and People Strategy on compensation related inquiries. Identify or respond to compensation issues or opportunities within groups/functions, model recommendations and develop creative solutions.
Manage the rollout of the annual compensation and equity cycle, reinforcing alignment with Rapid7’s compensation approach and budget. Partner with the People Strategy team on execution as well as promotional compensation recommendations throughout the year.
Partner with the Talent Acquisition team along with the Total Rewards Analyst to advise on compensation ranges for new roles, including review of offers outside guidelines to ensure internal equity and competitiveness relative to external market pay practices.
Participate in preparation of the Compensation Committee of the Board Materials for quarterly meetings including partnering with executive compensation consultants during the year.
Optimize Workday setup, expanding functionality related to managing compensation, jobs and people data in Workday. Ensure compliance with SOX, internal policies and local labor laws.
Manage Total Rewards Analyst to drive effective compensation consulting and processing in Workday.

8+ years of relevant compensation experience, with prior experience working for a global tech company in a compensation role required
Proven ability to influence and partner across all levels of the organization
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail with a measured sense of urgency. Ability to draw conclusions, themes and trends from data and propose business savvy and creative solutions
Previous experience with managing a small team and Workday experience a plus
Can-do attitude with broad knowledge of compensation practices
Collaborative and innovative style; someone who looks to solve problems with your customers, rather than dictate an “in the box” answer to them
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Driven to make an impact, while having an eye for improving processes and challenging convention
Bachelor’s degree required
