We are the investment fund NetSolid Investments, based in Ukraine, and focused on the development of digital projects in Western markets, with a primary focus on SMART investments.

Our partner, SlotCatalog, is an international company specializing in comprehensive and modern solutions for the iGaming industry. Powered by a robust data-driven platform, SlotCatalog has successfully launched a popular online service for both amateur and professional players worldwide. SlotCatalog is a fast-growing tech company in the online gaming space, with about 35 people today, spread across several locations, and continuing to grow in size and ambition.

We’re looking for an HR Business Partner/HR Lead to join us as our first real people leader. This is a hands-on role, but also one that sets the tone and direction for HR across the company. It’s a mix of “doing” and “thinking”—covering recruitment, contracts, onboarding, and admin, but also working closely with the leadership team to shape culture, support managers, and plan for the future.

You’ll be stepping into a nearly blank canvas with the freedom to build things your way. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys getting into the details but also knows how to zoom out, think ahead, and put the right systems and structures in place.

Your area of responsibility:

  • Own all HR operations from A to Z: administration, contracts, systems, and payroll coordination;
  • Lead recruitment across all departments, from sourcing to onboarding;
  • Act as a partner to founders and managers on team planning and organizational design;
  • Run HR one-on-ones, feedback loops, and employee check-ins;
  • Act as a sounding board for employees, helping to foster a strong and open culture;
  • Create and implement clear, effective HR processes as the company grows;
  • Help plan and lay the foundation for the future HR team;
  • Develop and execute strategies for employee engagement and retention;
  • Build HR analytics reports to support data-driven decisions;
  • Design and implement HR policies aligned with company values and goals;
  • Coordinate the implementation and maintenance of HR tools and systems (PeopleForce).

Our requirements:

  • Strong generalist HR background with at least 4–5 years of experience, ideally in tech or digital companies;
  • Proven experience in both hands-on HR operations and process design;
  • Proven track record in managing the full-cycle recruitment process: sourcing, interviewing, selection, hiring, onboarding, and adaptation;
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to build trust and be a reliable partner for managers and employees;
  • Ability to navigate growth, change, and sometimes ambiguous situations with resilience and adaptability;
  • English B2+ (written and spoken);
  • Experience in scaling HR processes and implementing HR systems is a plus;
  • Analytical skills to interpret HR data and make strategic recommendations;
  • Passion for building a positive company culture, supporting managers, and fostering a collaborative environment.

We offer:

  • The full-time remote format allows you to create a comfortable work environment at home or anywhere else;
  • Full-time position and flexible working hours, so you can manage everything that’s important to you;
  • For a full life and relaxation, we offer 24 days of paid vacation and a day off on your Birthday;
  • We care about your well-being, so in case of illness, we offer paid sick leave to help you recover and return to work in the best shape;
  • English language courses for learning and maintaining your skills.

What’s Next:
This role has a lot of growth potential. If you do well, we see it evolving into a VP of HR roll over time. You’ll have the trust and support of the leadership team and the freedom to build something.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
