An unconventional problem-solver with a Massachusetts law license

You want your legal qualification to serve a purpose. Discrimination, bullying, and the distortion of facts motivate you to investigate, speak up, and act. You bring the courage to challenge misconduct and the discipline to build a persuasive case through evidence, preparation, and law.

About you

You entered law to make a difference, and you’re looking for meaningful work and real responsibility. Your path may have started in engineering, physics, science, business, or another field. Perhaps you earned your law degree while working or qualified as an attorney before pursuing a different career.

You bring chutzpah: the confidence to question unsupported assumptions, follow the evidence, and advocate persuasively when challenged. You combine that confidence with resourcefulness, composure, and the judgment to adjust your thinking when the facts warrant it.

We value how you think and execute over pedigree or a conventional legal career. Newly admitted attorneys and career changers are welcome. Prior litigation employment is not required.

The opportunity

As LogicManager’s sole internal attorney, you’ll work directly with the CEO to turn business objectives into effective legal action. Leadership sets the business strategy; together, you’ll establish the legal approach. You’ll bring independent professional judgment and take responsibility for preparation, courtroom advocacy, and follow-through.

This is an opportunity to put your legal training to work, contribute directly to important matters, and build a trusted working partnership through the quality of your reasoning and execution.

What you’ll do
  • Turn business objectives and factual materials into researched arguments, pleadings, and motions.

  • Prepare and file court papers, manage deadlines and service, and represent LogicManager in proceedings where you are admitted and authorized to appear.

  • Examine the record, identify gaps or inconsistencies, anticipate opposing arguments, and prepare for judicial questions.

  • Explain recommendations and necessary changes, flag risks, and align on substantive changes to the legal approach before execution.

  • Follow through on agreed next steps while taking responsibility for accuracy, confidentiality, and professional obligations.

What you’ll bring
  • Active Massachusetts Bar admission in good standing.

  • Strong reasoning, legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

  • Resourcefulness, composure, and the courage to challenge a position through evidence and law.

  • Ownership of preparation, accuracy, deadlines, and the work needed to move matters forward.

Show us how you think

Our interview includes a fictional case exercise and live discussion. You’ll have the opportunity to show how you examine evidence, build an argument, respond to questions, and adapt as new information emerges. We’ll focus on your reasoning, preparation, and follow-through.

Pay Transparency Notice

The estimated salary range for this position is $87,000 to $135,000. Actual pay may differ depending on skills, experience, qualifications, and location. This role also offers a comprehensive benefits package.
