Drives the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for unified platform initiatives, in support of the OneBH operating model ensuring alignment across business priorities. Ensures collaboration across product teams creating personalized consumer-facing experiences using common capabilities, prioritizing based on impact to revenue growth, profitability, client employee growth and retention, and client satisfaction. Enhances user experience and efficiency by rapidly delivering enhancements and evaluating   new solutions and services. Develops and maintains a solid knowledge of the needs of customers, clients, competitors, and the industry. Identifies new product opportunities, develops business cases, and analyzes feasibility to inform strategic investments. Works cross-functionally across the enterprise to ensure alignment in design, technology, product development, and vendor strategy.

This Hybrid role requires in-person work at our Newton, MA headquarters.

What you will be doing:

  • Create and maintain product roadmaps for our products and services that make up the OneBH unified platform and drive business outcomes for our clients, their employees, and Bright Horizons.
  • Collaborate cross-functionaly across the organization to identify,prioritize and deliver capabilities that drive business value
  • Work with data science and insights teams to enable optimization of digital experiences for a range of different consumer need states
  • Ensure that we effectively leverage data and engagement tools to help consumers understand services and benefits that would be useful to them
  • Work closely with QA, Development, PMO, Implementation, Training, Support, and Marketing to execute release activities and ensure successful delivery.
  • Acquire a deep understanding of the business and industry and keep abreast of competitive offerings
  • Ensure consistent and positive end-user experiences across all touchpoints and leverage feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Lead information security and compliance processes, including vendor assessment, third-party application clearance, security risk evaluation, and technology-enabled security processes to protect organizational data and maintain operational integrity.
  • Drive customer experience improvements through data-driven insights, competitive research and analysis, and strategic product enhancements that differentiate our offerings in the marketplace.
  • Attend key client meetings as necessary to gather requirements and/or review product roadmap
  • Lead optimization projects that improve operational efficiency, staff effectiveness, and cross-functional collaboration across products.
  • Lead product‑related risk assessment and performance analysis to ensure reliability, service excellence, and identification of growth opportunities across products.
  • May lead, mentor and develop a growing team.
  • Provide day-to-day decision authority for product priorities, feature tradeoffs, and resource allocation with annual roadmaps and budgets set collaboratively with leadership.
  • Travel up to 5-10%, primarily for in-person key client meetings or industry conferences.​

Minimum Qualifications:

  • ­10+ years of product management experience to include directly managing a digital product
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, Business, or a related field. 5+ years minimum of additional experience would be considered in lieu of applicable degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative user feedback and analysis.
  • Familiarity with behavioral analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with experimentation platforms.
  • Fluency in creating flow diagrams and other visual artifacts.
  • Experience moderating user interviews or focus groups.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and data models
  • Experience mocking up UI prototypes a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, HTML and CSS a plus.
  • Strong understanding of how to drive business value
  • Strong knowledge of technology-based solutions
  • Expert in agile development and lean process within a large organization undergoing digital transformation.
  • Requires related business experience that includes managing a budget, strong analytical skills, organizational skills, follow-through skills, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge and practical experience of product development life cycle and agile development methodology is required
  • Experience negotiating with vendors and ability to manage external relationships
  • Requires ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a collaborative environment across other functions including sales, account management, employee services, finance, IT, HR, and marketing.

The annual salary for this position is between $139,000 - $185,000. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors. 

This position is also eligible for bonus and RSUs.
