CoStar Debt Solutions, located in Boston, MA, works with market participants across the commercial real estate (CRE) lending spectrum. Our solution provides lenders with the ability to better target business, appropriately price loans, make informed approval of credits, actively manage their portfolio with robust stress testing and surveillance measures, assess refinance risk and execute with a disciplined framework. Our clients include both public and private lenders, ranging from commercial banks and financial institutions to pension funds and insurance companies as well as government and rating agencies. 

This position will be onsite in Boston, MA.

 

What We Are Looking For: 

CoStar Debt Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced CRE & Client Solutions Analyst to join our growing team in Boston. 

This role sits at the intersection of commercial real estate lending, portfolio risk analytics, and client engagement. You will work directly with banks, insurance companies, and other CRE lenders to help them implement, validate, and maximize the value of CoStar Debt Solutions' risk management platform. Leveraging a combination of analytical expertise, product knowledge, and client-facing skills, you will support clients throughout the onboarding process, assist with portfolio analytics and risk management workflows, and serve as a trusted advisor as they integrate our platform into their lending and risk management operations. 

You will collaborate closely with clients as well as internal product, modeling, and engineering teams to ensure successful implementations, address complex analytical questions, and drive continued adoption of our platform. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, delivering timely, professional, and solution-oriented support. 

  • Guide clients through portfolio onboarding, data mapping, and validation processes to ensure data quality and analytical accuracy. 

  • Help clients understand and apply platform outputs related to portfolio surveillance, stress testing, CECL, refinance risk, concentration analysis, and other risk management workflows. 

  • Conduct portfolio analysis and investigate data, model, or workflow-related questions to support client decision-making. 

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings, training sessions, and ongoing engagement. 

  • Partner with internal product, modeling, and engineering teams to resolve complex technical and analytical issues. 

  • Identify recurring client needs and provide feedback that helps drive product enhancements and process improvements. 

  • Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and best practices for both internal teams and external clients. 

  • Support implementation projects and contribute to creating scalable onboarding and client success processes. 

 
Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field from an accredited, not-for-profit in-person University or College 

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in commercial real estate, banking, insurance, or investment management, OR 3 year of relevant experience with a completed Masters Degree. 

  • Proven client-facing experience with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Proficiency with AI tools and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint 

  • Evidence of strong academic performance in college 

 
Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Strong understanding of CRE lending, loan portfolios and risk management. 

  • Familiarity with data analytics tools such as SQL, Python, or similar platforms. 

  • Experience supporting or using risk analytics platforms or financial technology products.

The final salary or hourly rate offered for this role will fall within the range set forth below based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.

Base Compensation: $81,000-$109,000 Annually
