In this role, your primary focus is writing, crafting sharp, strategic copy and mapping content directly to the buyer's journey. You are an authentic wordsmith who writes original, human-driven copy not reliant on AI generation backed by strong grammar, sharp editing skills, and strict deadline discipline. While you will leverage Pardot to manage audience segments and deploy email nurture sequences, your core craft and day-to-day focus will be writing web, email, and thought leadership content that aligns with user journeys and converts leads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data-Driven Thought Leadership & Messaging: Deep-dive into Gracenote’s offerings, industry trends, and proprietary data to write authoritative thought leadership content and messaging that resonates with specific buyer categories.

  • Website Experience & User Journeys: Audit and rewrite website copy to improve clarity, highlight data insights, build audience trust, and guide visitors seamlessly through the buying journey.

  • Audience Segmentation in Pardot: Build, filter, and maintain granular audience segments based on industry, behavior, and persona to deliver targeted communication.

  • Email Nurture Campaigns: Write, build, and deploy automated email nurture sequences mapped directly to stages of the customer lifecycle inside Pardot.

  • Original Content Creation: Write high-quality, human-centric copy across web, email, and thought leadership assets; maintain rigorous editorial standards without reliance on AI generation tools.

  • Project Ownership: Manage your own assignment queue end-to-end, hitting project deadlines independently while keeping cross-functional stakeholders aligned.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of B2B content marketing and copywriting experience, with a portfolio showcasing clear, human-centered messaging and data-driven thought leadership.

  • Proven ability to extract key insights from complex data, research, or product capabilities and translate them into compelling storytelling.

  • Direct experience building email sequences, automation rules, and audience lists inside Salesforce Pardot.

  • Native or near-native mastery of English grammar, editing, and stylistic writing tailored to diverse audience segments.

  • Proven ability to map content, web copy, and email touchpoints to distinct customer journeys.

  • Strong self-management skills—able to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and operate with minimal oversight.

  • Preferred: Basic HTML knowledge for email template formatting and minor layout adjustments in Pardot.
