This is a unique opportunity as Blitzy is a highly technical platform and our BDRs must speak the language of modern software engineering and engage credibly with technical buyers. You’ll manage a mix of high-intent inbound leads and targeted outbound campaigns, conducting value-based discovery with engineering teams and senior executives.

Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to map target accounts, identify high leverage opportunities, and build a predictable enterprise pipeline.

  • Evaluate and respond rapidly to inbound leads generated from marketing initiatives, ensuring a seamless and technical initial discovery experience focused on net new customer acquisition.

  • Uncover deep engineering challenges around modernization work, feature additions, security vulnerability remediation, or reverse engineering to map exactly how Blitzy addresses a prospect stack.

  • Build personalized, multi channel outreach campaigns via cold calling, tailored email, LinkedIn, and other social media to engage everyone from individual developers to CTOs.

  • Drive pipeline by consistently hitting goals for qualified meetings, opportunities created, and sourced revenue.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated competitive drive, resilience in the face of rejection, and a track record of consistently exceeding goals.

  • 1+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a technical customer-facing role; a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Data, or a related technical field is a plus.

  • Experience developing creative sourcing strategies and using unconventional outreach channels to uncover new opportunities.

  • Proven problem-solving skills, strong initiative, and comfort navigating ambiguity and tackling complex challenges head-on.

  • Strong technical communication skills, with experience asking thoughtful questions, leading technical conversations, and connecting product capabilities to business outcomes.

  • A strong appetite for feedback and continuous improvement, with the ability to quickly absorb product knowledge and refine your sales approach.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively, with a strong sense of accountability and a commitment to shared and individual success.
