About Blitzy

Blitzy is a Cambridge, MA based AI software development platform on a mission to revolutionize the software development life cycle by autonomously building custom software to unlock the next industrial revolution. We’re transforming how enterprises build software, turning enterprise requirements into production-ready code with an agentic software development platform that can autonomously execute 80% of the quantum of software development work. We’re backed by multiple tier 1 investors, and have proven success as founders of previous start-ups.

About the Role

We are launching the Blitzy Business Development program, a structured and fast paced launchpad for individuals with a technical foundation who want to build a high upside career in tech sales.

This is not a traditional outbound role. Because Blitzy is a technical platform, our BDRs must speak the language of modern software engineering. You will manage a strategic mix of high intent inbound leads and targeted outbound campaigns, executing value based discovery with engineering experts and senior executives alike.

This program is explicitly designed for long term career progression. If you have the technical baseline but possess the grit, competitive drive, and hunger to scale revenue, this is your starting line.

What You’ll Do
  • Execute Territory Strategy: Partner closely with Account Executives to map target accounts, identify high leverage opportunities, and build a predictable enterprise pipeline.

  • Qualify and Prioritize Inbound: Evaluate and respond rapidly to inbound leads generated from marketing initiatives, ensuring a seamless and technical initial discovery experience focused on net new customer acquisition.

  • Identify Technical Use Cases: Uncover deep engineering challenges around modernization work, feature additions, security vulnerability remediation, or reverse engineering to map exactly how Blitzy addresses a prospect stack.

  • Target Multi Level Buyers: Devise personalized, multi channel outreach campaigns via cold calling, tailored email, LinkedIn, and other social media to engage everyone from individual developers to CTOs.

  • Own Your Metrics: Drive consistent activity to hit your goals, which are measured by qualified meetings set, pipeline opportunities created, and sourced deals that close resulting in revenue.

What You’ll Bring
  • A competitive athlete mindset. You handle rejection with resilience, love a challenge, and have a clear history of pushing to overachieve.

  • A highly curious professional with the creativity to leverage unique sourcing mediums and outside the box outreach strategies to find hidden opportunities.

  • A natural problem solver and self starter who takes immediate initiative, navigates ambiguity easily, and tackles complex challenges head on.

  • An exceptional listener who can lead high level technical conversations, ask precise questions, and translate technical capabilities into clear business outcomes.

  • Low ego and high curiosity. You actively seek out feedback, absorb product training quickly, and constantly find ways to sharpen your sales process.

  • A collaborative teammate who celebrates the group wins and takes extreme accountability for their individual contribution.

  • Preferred: A degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Data, or 1–2 years of experience in a technical role. Familiarity with software development concepts is a plus.

Structured Career Progression

We build our future leaders from within. After mastering BDR fundamentals and hitting your milestones, you will have a clear and structured path to advance your career at Blitzy. Depending on your strengths and interests, you can transition into any Go-To-Market role at Blitzy — from commercial closing positions like Account Executive, to specialized paths such as Solutions Consulting, Technical Marketing, Forward Deployed Engineering, Customer Success, Sales Development leadership, Revenue Operations, or Partnerships. Wherever your skills take you, BDR is a launchpad, not a ceiling.
