Build and nurture qualified sales pipeline through personalized outreach, event follow-up, cold lead re-engagement, and relationship development. About 7AI

7AI is the foundational AI security company. Founded in 2024 by Cybereason co-founders Lior Div and Yonatan Striem-Amit, we came out of stealth in February 2025 to take on the non-human work of the SOC. Our platform pairs a federated SIEM with AI agents that detect, investigate, respond, and hunt, plus dedicated threat hunting and threat intelligence, with humans on the loop.

Backed by $166 million in total funding from investors including Index Ventures and Blackstone, we're building the AI foundation for security operations in the agentic era, and we're still early. That's the appeal: you'll join at a pivotal stage where your work shapes what 7AI becomes, alongside security veterans who've built this before. Our culture runs on respect, collaboration, and a shared bar for excellence, all pointed at one goal, delivering real outcomes for the customers who trust us to defend them.

Overview

7AI is hiring a Business Development Rep (aka Security Community Lead) to keep the relationships behind a deal warm long after the first conversation. You'll follow up on event leads, re-engage conversations that have gone cold, and generate a steady stream of qualified leads through outreach that's personal, not blasted. You'll also partner closely with account executives, staying engaged in opportunities beyond the first meeting, multi-threading across the buying committee, and making sure the right people are in the room before a deal needs them to be. This is a relationship-building role, not a dial-for-dollars one: success here is about pipeline that shows up and moves, not who gets credit for it.

What You'll Do
  • Activate marketing-qualified leads through personalized, one-to-one outreach.

  • Follow up on event leads and re-engage cold conversations, so account executives can stay focused on active deals.

  • Partner strategically with account executives: stay engaged in opportunities, multi-thread across the buying committee, and identify who else needs to be part of the conversation.

  • Represent 7AI at industry events and build relationships with the security community in person.

  • Nurture relationships over time instead of chasing a single transaction.

What We're Looking For
  • A track record of ownership: you can point to something you took on and drove to a result, wherever you built it.

  • Strong time management — you know where to focus your energy and for how long.

  • Comfortable operating without a script: this role rewards judgment over volume, and it isn't a high-volume dialing job.

  • A competitive streak that shows up as follow-through, not just talk.

  • AI fluency: you look for ways to work smarter, not harder.

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
