About the Role

We are seeking a Business Analyst I to join our Healthcare Product Analytics team to deliver high-quality analysis and insights that support WHOOP's Health Operating System — our growing suite of clinical features, personalized wellness experiences, and health outcome measurement tools.

This role is ideal for an early-career analyst who is energized by health and wellness and motivated by member impact. You are curious and confident exploring data, and eager to tackle complex analytical questions in partnership with product teams building features that help members manage their health. By transforming data into actionable insight, you will help ensure our healthcare experiences meaningfully enhance the WHOOP member journey.

Responsibilities
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Digital Health, Software Engineering, UX & Design, Data Science, and Marketing teams to support analysis that informs healthcare product strategy and roadmap decisions.

  • Healthcare Product Performance & Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reporting to track key healthcare product metrics such as feature engagement, adoption of recommended behaviors, member-reported outcomes, and program completion.

  • Insights & Analysis: Conduct structured analyses to understand how healthcare features influence member behavior, health engagement, and wellness outcomes, summarizing findings with clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Experimentation Support: Assist in the design, measurement, and analysis of A/B tests evaluating healthcare product features, ensuring proper metric definitions and result interpretation with guidance.

  • Data Quality & Validation: Write clean SQL queries, validate data accuracy across systems, and partner with Analytics Engineering to ensure reliable tracking and instrumentation for healthcare features.

  • Trend Monitoring & Escalation: Monitor healthcare product KPIs, proactively identify meaningful trends or anomalies, and escalate findings or recommend follow-up analyses in partnership with senior team members.

  • Member Segment Understanding: Support analyses that uncover insights about key member segments — including those managing hormonal health, cardiometabolic health, or seeking more personalized wellness support.

  • Documentation & Process: Contribute to repeatable tools and processes for analytics across health features — from data documentation to dashboards and weekly health performance reviews.

Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar analytical role, preferably in a product-focused environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Business, Economics, Data Science, Public Health, or a related field.

  • Working knowledge of SQL with the ability to write clean, well-structured queries (or strong interest in developing SQL proficiency).

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Sigma, Amplitude, Looker, Hex, or similar.

  • Foundational understanding of A/B testing and experimentation principles.

  • Strong analytical curiosity with the ability to break down problems using data.

  • Clear communication skills with the ability to summarize findings in an answer-first format.

  • Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare product environment.

  • Interest in health, wellness, and how data-driven features shape member health outcomes.

  • Commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, holding AI-assisted work to the same quality bar as personal contributions.

Bonus
  • Familiarity with modern data stacks: Snowflake, dbt, ELT workflows.

  • Background or coursework in health sciences, public health, biostatistics, or a related field.

  • Exposure to product analytics — feature adoption, funnel analysis, cohort comparisons.

  • Experience working with sensitive data (HIPAA, PII) or in a healthcare-adjacent environment.

  • Interest in how algorithms and clinical science translate into consumer health products.
