WHOOP is hiring a Social Media Coordinator to help power a distinctive, culturally relevant social presence as we continue to scale globally. In this role, you will own the systems and workflows that keep the Social team moving—from managing the content calendar and publishing across channels to coordinating content through production, approvals, and launch. You’ll bring strong organization, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of social platforms to help the team operate efficiently while contributing ideas that strengthen how WHOOP shows up across social.

This role reports to the Senior Manager, Social Content.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own and maintain the social content calendar, establishing publishing timelines and ensuring briefs, assets, copy, owners, approvals, and launch dates are organized and visible in one place.

  • Lead day-to-day publishing across WHOOP social channels, scheduling and posting content with the appropriate copy, tags, links, formatting, and platform-specific requirements.

  • Coordinate content workflows from brief through production, review, approval, and publishing, maintaining clear statuses and proactively identifying risks to deadlines.

  • Lead social calendar checkpoints and collaborate with internal partners to ensure upcoming content has clear ownership, next steps, and the information needed to launch on time.

  • Maintain publishing, project management, and analytics systems, ensuring content is accurately tagged and performance data is organized and reliable for ongoing reporting.

  • Contribute to brainstorms, monitor emerging platform features and social trends, and support recurring performance reporting by identifying clear takeaways that can inform future content.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1+ years of experience managing social accounts for a brand, creator, or media company including relevant internship or equivalent experience.

  • Strong, platform-native understanding of major social platforms, audience behavior, publishing best practices, content algorithms, and emerging trends.

  • Experience using social media management tools such as Sprinklr or similar platforms, as well as project management tools such as monday.com, Notion, or similar.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workflows, publishing schedules, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with experience collaborating cross-functionally across creative, marketing, communications, production, or related teams and proactively surfacing potential blockers.

  • Comfort working with social analytics and performance metrics to organize and validate reporting, identify insights, and inform content and creative decisions.

  • Interest in fitness, health, technology, and the evolving social media landscape.

  • Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.

This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.

At WHOOP, we view total compensation as the combination of base salary, equity, and benefits, with equity serving as a key differentiator that aligns our employees with the long-term success of the company and allows every member of our corporate team to own part of WHOOP and share in the company’s long-term growth and success.

 

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 - $85,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.

 

In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.

These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
