We're looking for an Analytics Engineer who is passionate about transforming complex business data into trusted, scalable insights that drive decision-making across the organization. In this role, you'll partner closely with Pricing, Merchandising, Finance, Revenue Management, and Analytics teams to build modern data solutions that improve visibility, optimize performance, and support strategic business initiatives. The Analytics Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining analytical data products that transform complex business data into trusted, scalable insights. This role serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical data teams by integrating data across multiple sources, defining metrics and business logic, building governed datasets, and enabling self-service reporting and analytics.


Working closely with Pricing, Merchandising, Finance, and Analytics partners, the Analytics Engineer develops data models, automates data preparation processes, validates data quality, and supports reporting and analytical solutions that drive business performance. This position combines technical data expertise with analytical problem-solving skills to deliver reliable information assets that support operational and strategic decision-making.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design, develop, and maintain analytical data products, curated datasets, and data models that support reporting, analysis, and business decision-making.
  • Integrate and transform data from multiple internal and external sources while resolving differences in business definitions, data structures, and levels of detail.
  • Build and maintain SQL-based data models and data transformation workflows using technologies such as Snowflake, Alteryx, Tableau Prep, Python, or similar platforms.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define key metrics, calculations, reporting requirements, and data governance standards.
  • Validate data accuracy through testing, reconciliation, and quality assurance processes to ensure trusted analytical outputs.
  • Investigate business questions, identify data trends and root causes, validate assumptions, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data models, transformations, calculations, and business logic.
  • Modernize and automate existing reporting and data preparation workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Create and support analytical assets utilized by dashboards, self-service reporting tools, and downstream analytics solutions.
  • Present findings, insights, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences using visualization and storytelling techniques.
  • Support AI-enabled analytics initiatives by validating data inputs and outputs, ensuring alignment with underlying business rules and data structures.
  • Collaborate with Pricing, Merchandising, Finance, Technology, Data Engineering, and Analytics teams to develop scalable data solutions that improve business performance and decision-making.

What’s Needed - Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in analytics engineering, business intelligence, data analytics, data engineering, reporting, or a related analytical role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency writing complex SQL queries and developing data models on relational or cloud-based data platforms.
  • Experience integrating and transforming data from multiple sources while resolving data quality and business logic issues.
  • Experience using data transformation tools such as Alteryx, Tableau Prep, Python, or similar technologies.
  • Experience building, validating, and maintaining analytical datasets, reporting assets, or business intelligence solutions.
  • Experience conducting data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate analytical findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results within established timelines.

What’s Needed - Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of analytics engineering, business intelligence, reporting, or data analytics experience.
  • Experience using Snowflake or another cloud-based data warehouse platform.
  • Experience supporting Pricing, Merchandising, Revenue Management, Finance, or Retail business functions.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable data models for enterprise reporting and analytics.
  • Experience automating reporting, data preparation, or analytical workflows.
  • Experience developing data assets that support self-service analytics, dashboards, advanced analytics, or AI-enabled solutions.
  • Experience utilizing Tableau or other enterprise business intelligence and visualization platforms.
  • Experience contributing to data governance, metadata management, and documentation standards.
  • Experience supporting modernization initiatives involving reporting, analytics, automation, and data-driven decision-making.

The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, geography, business considerations, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for bonuses, or other forms of variable compensation.
