Alyce raised a $11 million Series A. Alyce gets creative with gift giving, providing unique AI-generated gift ideas for sales and marketing teams to send to prospective clients. Alyce plans to use the new funds to expand its sales, marketing and customer success teams. With a total funding of $16.8 million, Alyce plans on hiring 50 people for its Boston team. Edgewise Networks raised a $11 million Series A. The security startup, based in Burlington MA, plans to double its team of 35 by the first quarter of next year and launch a podcast this week explaining its approach to cybersecurity. [Built In Boston]

BlueSnap plans to hire 40 more at expanded Waltham HQ. With a current team of 165 employees around the world, the online payment company will grow even more after announcing the opening of an additional 12,000 square feet of space. JRNI launches Marketplace. Formerly known as BookingBug, JRNI’s Marketplace is set to increase companies’ conversions through appointment bookings.
