We are looking for a Vice President of Marketing – Retail to lead the global marketing strategy and organization across our Retail Business Unit.

In this executive role, you will define and drive a scalable, data-driven global marketing strategy that strengthens brand leadership and accelerates international revenue growth across hardware and SaaS propositions. As a key member of the Retail leadership team, you will partner closely with Product, Sales, and regional leaders to scale our marketing organization and support ambitious growth objectives, including expanding our SaaS business.

Key responsibilities:


  • Global Marketing Strategy & Business Impact: Define and own the global marketing strategy for the Retail Business Unit, aligning brand, product positioning, and commercial. Ensure marketing initiatives directly support revenue growth, market expansion, and long-term enterprise value creation.
  • Brand Leadership & Market Positioning: Own and evolve the global brand strategy for Retail, ensuring strong differentiation, clarity of value proposition, and leadership positioning in competitive international markets.
  • Revenue Acceleration & Demand Engine Ownership: Establish marketing as a measurable growth engine by building scalable demand generation frameworks, pipeline contribution models, and customer expansion strategies. Define KPIs and hold the organization accountable for performance outcomes.
  • Product & Portfolio Marketing: Ensure strong alignment between product innovation and market needs by leading product marketing strategy across the full portfolio. Translate product roadmaps into compelling go-to-market narratives that resonate across regions.
  • Executive & Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as a strategic partner to leadership. Drive alignment across Marketing, Sales, Product Management, and Customer Engagement to ensure coherent global execution and consistent customer messaging.
  • Organizational Development & Capability Building: Build, structure, and develop a high-performing global marketing organization. Lead the evolution from operational execution to a strategic, data-driven, performance-focused marketing function capable of supporting rapid international growth.
  • Global Alignment & Regional Coordination: Ensure consistency and alignment between headquarters and regional teams (North America, Europe, and beyond), balancing global brand standards with regional market needs.
  • External Representation & Thought Leadership: Represent the Retail Business Unit externally with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders. Strengthen Nedap’s visibility and influence through thought leadership and strategic market presence.

What we’re looking for:


Executive Marketing Leadership: Proven experience leading global marketing functions within a B2B technology, SaaS, or hardware/software environment. Demonstrated ability to define strategy, scale teams, and deliver measurable business growth in international markets.

Strategic, Commercial & Data-Driven Growth Leader: Strong strategic mindset combined with commercial accountability and data discipline. You understand SaaS and hardware revenue models and can translate business objectives into measurable marketing outcomes. You define clear KPIs, leverage analytics to guide decision-making, and ensure marketing investment directly contributes to ARR growth, pipeline performance, and market expansion.

Global & Cross-Functional Leader Proven experience building and developing high-performing marketing organizations in international, matrixed environments. You thrive in multicultural settings and have led cross-regional collaboration across diverse markets. You align Product, Sales, and Customer Engagement around shared growth objectives, foster accountability across teams, and drive structured execution at scale.

Executive Presence & Market Influence: Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, represent the organization externally, and articulate a compelling growth vision across regions and functions.

Other requirements:

  • 8–12+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 3+ years in a senior leadership role within a SaaS, retail technology, or hardware/software hybrid and multicultural environment.
  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent (specialized marketing preferred; communications only is not sufficient) 
  • This is a hybrid role based in Burlington, MA, requiring in-office presence 2–3 days per week
  • Domestic and international travel (15–20%), including trips to our headquarters in the Netherlands
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and eligibility for U.S. employment
