Job Description:

V.I.E. Finance Analyst / Controller – R&D Finance

Cambridge, Massachusetts (USA) | 18 months

As a V.I.E. Finance Analyst / Controller, you will join our R&D Finance team and support the financial management of key R&D assets and projects. Working closely with Asset Leaders and Finance teams across the US, UK and France, you will contribute to financial analysis, controlling, budgeting and strategic R&D initiatives in a highly international environment.

What you'll do

  • Prepare and review financial models related to R&D costs.
  • Support clinical study budget analysis across different therapeutic areas.
  • Analyze financial data and produce accurate reports and insights.
  • Support R&D controlling activities and finance management tasks.
  • Contribute to financial analysis, benchmarking and cost modelling for global clinical projects.
  • Support R&D Finance due diligence, Business Development, Licensing and M&A activities.
  • Partner with R&D teams, Project Leaders and Finance stakeholders to provide visibility on project costs and investments.
  • Contribute to Global R&D Finance initiatives and ad-hoc financial projects.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
  • First experience in Financial Analysis, Planning or Controlling.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP and/or TM1 would be a plus.
  • Interest in the pharmaceutical industry and R&D environment.
  • Proactive, collaborative and comfortable working in an international environment.
