Our platform empowers providers, payers, and researchers to make data-driven decisions that improve outcomes and reduce costs. With a team of 105+ and growing, we’re entering an exciting phase of rapid growth and broader market impact. If you're passionate about improving healthcare through innovation and collaboration, Linus may be the place for you.

Please note that in order to be considered for the position, you must be based in the US. While we are flexible on location(within the US), we do have a strong preference for someone who is based in EST, especially in or around our Boston based HQ.

The Role:

As a Vice President - Payer Sales, you will drive Linus Health’s payer strategy, focusing on revenue growth and strategic partnerships with commercial health plans, Medicare Advantage (MA) plans, Medicaid MCOs, and other value-based care organizations. You will be responsible for developing and executing a go-to-market strategy for this segment, managing complex enterprise sales cycles, and building lasting relationships with senior stakeholders.

This is a highly strategic, hands-on leadership role that offers the opportunity to shape how brain health fits into population health management, quality programs, and member engagement at scale.

What You'll Do:

Sales Strategy & Market Development

  • Develop and execute a national sales strategy targeting payer organizations aligned with Linus Health’s revenue and impact goals
  • Identify and prioritize high-potential accounts across the commercial, MA, and Medicaid payer landscape
  • Partner with marketing and executive leadership to position Linus effectively in value-based care and digital health innovation conversations

Relationship Management & Selling

  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders including medical directors, population health leaders, innovation teams, and payer executives
  • Lead consultative selling efforts by identifying payer-specific challenges and articulating the clinical and financial value of Linus’ platform
  • Represent Linus at industry conferences, payer roundtables, and networking events

Deal Execution & Pipeline Management

  • Own the end-to-end sales process: from prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and contract close
  • Create business cases that align with key payer metrics such as Stars, HEDIS, risk adjustment, early detection, and member retention
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and activity reporting using CRM tools

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with product, clinical, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless implementation and long-term client success.
  • Provide strategic feedback to inform payer-specific product enhancements and commercialization strategy.

About You:

  • Experience: 8–12+ years of progressive B2B sales experience, with 5+ years selling into payer organizations or value-based care programs
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of health plan operations, quality programs (e.g., HEDIS, Stars), risk-based contracting, chronic condition management, and digital health reimbursement
  • Sales Expertise: Proven success managing complex sales cycles and closing high-value, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to position innovative solutions with clinical and economic value to diverse payer stakeholders
  • Leadership & Initiative: Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, capable of building market traction and internal consensus simultaneously
  • Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills that build trust and credibility at the executive level

Compensation: The base salary budgeted for this position is in the $200,000-225,000 range per year. The candidate hired into this position will also be eligible for an "On-Target-Commission" variable compensation along with company equity. The final offer determined for the candidate who is hired for this position will depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's relevant skills, professional experience, labor market conditions and more.

Please note that we are not using 3rd party agencies for this position right now and will not accept any unsolicited resumes. We ask that you kindly please refrain from reaching out to our team members directly.
