Magna New Mobility is seeking a results-driven Technical Project Manager to lead the Agile development of our Software Products. This role is critical in driving software development for multiple software product lines, including New Mobility's Unified Factory and Smart Pick applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about enterprise software, excels at driving project engagement, and has a track record of success in complex environments.
Responsibilities• Assist in planning and executing projects using Agile methodologies, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.• Support the facilitation of Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to promote team collaboration and continuous improvement.• Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and manage the project backlog, ensuring efficient workflow and delivery.• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.• Contribute to the development and implementation of performance metrics to track project success and identify areas for improvement.• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and product owners, to ensure project requirements are met.• Assist in identifying and resolving project issues and risks, escalating them as necessary to ensure project continuity.• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance Agile knowledge and project management skills.• Contribute to the preparation and presentation of project reports, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of project status and outcomes.
Skills and Experience• A bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or equivalent experience• Working knowledge of the Software and/or Product Development life cycle• 1-3 years of experience in project management or Agile development methodologies, preferably in a product organization• Agile Certified Professional, PMP or SCRUM Master certified is preferred.• Basic understanding of Agile practices and principles, with a willingness to learn and grow in this area.• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.• Familiarity with project management tools and software is a plus.
Hiring Base Salary Range: $105,780 - $196,440 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). In addition to base salary, some positions are eligible for an annual performance based bonus.
