Job Responsibilities:
The Hardware Test Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated test routines and data analysis for radar sensors used in various automotive applications. Your Responsibilities:
- Develop automated test workflows for configuration, measurement, and data acquisition of radar sensors.
- Interface test software with sensors and test equipment via CAN, LAN, USB, GPIB, and RS-232 protocols.
- Analyze test data, generate reports, and document findings.
- Collaborate with Systems, Hardware, and Software teams to define and document test requirements and procedures.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of the test software development process.
- Manage configuration control and versioning of test software releases.
- Execute testing activities in accordance with company processes and quality standards.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (BSCS, BSEE, or equivalent).
- 4 to 8+ years of hands-on experience in automated test development within the automotive or electronics industry.
- Proficiency in Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, C, and C++.
- Experience working with radar target simulators (RTS), spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, CAN interfaces, signal/waveform generators, temperature controllers, solid-state relays, and power supplies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills at system and hardware levels.
Physical & Other Requirements:
- Manual dexterity to operate office equipment and test hardware.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external contacts.
