$111,800.00 - $175,670.00

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Review local provision submissions
- Review local team Uncertain Tax Position computations and assist with guidance where necessary
- Prepare/review consolidated provision workpapers including but not limited to roll-forward of deferred tax balances, roll-forward of tax payable balances, consolidated rate reconciliation
- Assist with analysis of tax implications and proper reporting of topside journal entries
- Provide assistance to local provision teams as needed
- Compile and maintain SOX documentation
- Assists with technical tax accounting research
- Work closely with corporate Controllership and Reporting teams
- Present tax accounting training sessions to a global team
- Assists with preparing responses to financial statement auditors
- Responsible for the administration of tax provision software (Hyperion Tax Provision)
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Understanding of multi-national operating structures and methods; understanding of a foreign owned structure, a plus
- Tax Accounting - understands the US GAAP and/or IFRS tax reporting requirements.
- Financial Reporting - understands SOX internal control requirements and other financial reporting requirements for foreign-owned filers
- Accounting - understands the concepts and methods of moderately complex accounting
- Communication - ability to communicate ideas and data both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner
- Data Management - ability to utilize data collection, analysis, maintenance application and refinement methods to make fact based decisions
- Analytical Skills - ability to analyze a wide variety of financial data and make appropriate decisions
- Mathematical - ability to perform basic mathematical computations and solve problems
- Management - ability to set priorities and develop workflow processes

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Required:
- B.S. in Accounting or Finance
- 5-7 years of Big Four experience or 6-9 years of industry equivalent
- Experience working with/in a large corporate tax department
- Experience with tax compliance software and general ledger packages
Preferred:
- MS in Accounting or Taxation or J.D. preferred
- Certified Public Accountant
- Experience working in pharmaceutical industry
- Experience with HFM, HTP, SAP, Alteryx
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Travel within region or internationally up to 15% of time.
