This role: The App Product Development Intern will play a key role in shaping SharkNinja's connected product ecosystem by supporting the development of high-quality digital experiences across multiple product categories. This role will contribute to the end-to-end product development lifecycle, partnering closely with engineering, UX/UI, data, and marketing teams to bring intuitive, consumer-centric app features to life. The right individual will have a strong interest in digital product development, a collaborative mindset, curiosity about consumer behavior, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. The main work of this team is to deliver seamless, scalable, and engaging app experiences that enhance the value of SharkNinja products.
Here are some of the exciting things you'll get to do:
  • Support the development and execution of app product features across multiple product categories
  • Assist in defining product requirements, user stories, and feature enhancements based on customer needs and business priorities
  • Partner with UX/UI teams to help design intuitive user flows, interaction models, and app experiences
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support the translation of product requirements into technical solutions
  • Help track product development timelines, key milestones, and cross-functional deliverables to ensure on-time execution
  • Analyze customer feedback, usability testing results, and product data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Contribute to building scalable platform features such as onboarding, device connectivity, and personalization
  • Support cross-functional alignment across product, engineering, marketing, and hardware teams
  • Assist in documentation and communication of product updates, requirements, and project status

ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:
  • Education: Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program
  • Must be able to work a full-time, 40-hour-per-week schedule with 5 days per week onsite in Needham, MA
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
  • Interest in digital product development, mobile apps, or connected consumer experiences
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data analysis and documentation
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment

Salary and Other Compensation: The hourly salary range for this position is displayed below. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Hourly Pay Range
$27-$34 USD
