As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Sr. Software Engineer who’s passionate about building high-quality software that makes a real impact. You’ll help deliver distributed, scalable systems that power meaningful connections between carriers and their customers. The ideal candidate brings experience developing in cloud environments and a pragmatic, hands-on approach to creating solutions — thoughtfully applying new technologies, including AI-assisted development tools, to solve complex problems and deliver meaningful outcomes. We thrive on teamwork and shared enthusiasm, which is why this role involves joining us in the office for two days each week. 

What You'll Do:

  • Design, build, and deliver scalable, reliable software across the stack — developing distributed systems and data-driven features that support carrier and customer experiences with strong performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate closely with product and design to translate customer needs into technical solutions that drive measurable value.
  • Apply modern AI development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate implementation, testing, and documentation.
  • Write clean, testable, and efficient code, continuously improving architecture and development practices through code reviews and refactoring.
  • Contribute to technical strategy, balancing pragmatic decision-making with long-term scalability and system health.
  • Mentor and collaborate with peers, helping elevate engineering standards and culture through example and feedback.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Typically has 4-7+ Years of Software Development Experience. Candidates with more experience are encouraged to apply as well.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality applications and features to production.
  • Experience designing and building distributed architectures, ideally in the AWS ecosystem, with a strong understanding of principles such as separation of concerns, scalability, and loose coupling
  • Practical experience using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code) to improve development workflows and productivity
  • Strong experience with relational and document-oriented databases, including performance tuning and scaling.
  • Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and frontend frameworks such as React.
  • Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and modern code management practices.
  • Passion for clean code, design patterns, and continuous improvement.
