The Job:  

As a Sr. Robotics Field Implementation Manager, you’ll be part of our Dewalt Construction Technology team working as a remote employee.   We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the deployment, support, and continuous improvement of advanced robotics solutions in complex construction environments. The Senior Robotics Field Implementation Manager will drive operational excellence, mentor Jr implementation associates, and serve as a subject matter expert for both internal and external stakeholders.  You will also get to:

  • Lead and coordinate all pre-deployment activities, including logistics, stakeholder engagement, safety planning, and risk mitigation.
  • Supervise on-site setup, calibration, and advanced troubleshooting of robotic systems in dynamic construction settings.
  • Provide technical support during and after deployments, resolving escalated issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Design, deliver, and continuously improve comprehensive training programs for diverse audiences, from field operators to executives.
  • Gather, analyze, and communicate field insights to inform product development and process enhancements.
  • Identify and implement process optimizations for deployment and training, driving operational excellence and scalability.
  • Influence product enhancements and new applications based on field experience and customer feedback.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for DEWALT account representatives and collaborate with sales teams to drive adoption.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The Person:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, technology, or a related field (advanced degree preferred) AND 10+ years of progressive field experience in construction, robotics, automation, or related technology OR 15+ years of progressive field experience in construction, robotics, automation, or related technology with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 12-15 days per month to customer locations, primarily construction sites.
  • This senior-level role is designed for accomplished professionals with technical expertise, proven leadership, and a strong track record in robotics or automation deployment within the construction industry.
  • The ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds as part of regular job duties is required.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently (12-15 days/month), sometimes on short notice.

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is 93,400.00 - 168,100.00 USD Annual per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
