We are seeking a results-oriented, passionate, and dynamic Senior QA Engineer to join our rapidly growing engineering team. In this role, you will be a critical part of the squad building Agero’s next-generation Swoop Platform, which utilizes short and long-term horizon optimizers to manage millions of roadside events annually.
As a key contributor in a fully remote environment, you will drive engineering excellence by ensuring we deliver high-impact software with consistency and quality. - Partner closely with the Product, Design, and Engineering teams to understand requirements, communicate QA status, and shape product roadmaps.
- Adhere to QA best practices by filing detailed bug reports with accurate reproduction steps, documentation, and screen recordings. Help identify and reproduce production defects.
- Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle of the platform and deliver high quality products.
- Participate in system design and architecture discussions to identify risks and provide technical context for quality trade-offs.
- Communicate risks, status, and decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Thrive in a fully remote environment by building trust and maintaining accountability through effective rituals.
Skills, Education and Experience:
- B.S. degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of related experience in software engineering and quality assurance.
