The base salary range for this position is $140,300 to $192,940; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. How you will contribute
As the Sr. Leader, Nutrition & Scientific Affairs leader, you will:
- Offer strategic direction and nutrition thought leadership for our mindful snacking strategy in North America (NA), inspiring product renovations and innovations.
- Working with regulatory and scientific affairs, marketing, consumer insights, nutrition research, and legal, you will promote nutrition and wellbeing messages and support the development and substantiation of science-backed claims used across media (packaging, advertising, websites, recipes, materials for health professionals, etc.).
- Lead internal nutrition education programs to increase employee knowledge and implement external health professional outreach programs and nutrition conference strategies to inspire BFY brand recommendations.
- Lead and expand external engagement efforts, leveraging your understanding of nutrition science and public health and partnering with key functions like scientific affairs and corporate and government affairs, to inform and actively drive the company's external food and nutrition policy advocacy strategy, engagement plans, and foresight initiatives.
- Serve as a visible leader in trade associations and scientific organizations, representing the company's business interests, shaping industry positions, and building strategic alliances that advance Mondelēz's advocacy agenda.
- Champion policy foresight by monitoring, interpreting, and anticipating regulatory and policy developments, translating these into proactive business preparedness strategies and advocacy positions.
- As a member of the NSC leadership team, you will direct a team of nutrition professionals (onsite and remote) and elevate the visibility and role of NSC as a respected, sought out partner across the NA business.

Education / Certifications:

- Extensive experience in Scientific Affairs, including developing and executing scientific strategies that support business objectives and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated leadership in trade associations and/or scientific organizations, with a track record of advancing organizational priorities through external engagement.
- Proven policy advocacy experience, including interpreting proposed regulations, developing foresight-driven strategies, and leading activation plans in response to evolving policy landscapes.
