Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage a standardized process or system to define and track all required training for new hires from orientation through job readiness.

  • Partner with operations, HR, EHS, quality, and other functions to ensure training plans align with role-specific and business requirements.

  • Build and maintain training matrices/checklists for hourly roles; expand to salaried positions over time.

  • Coordinate scheduling of all required training sessions, ensuring timely completion prior to or upon start of work.

  • Monitor progress of new hires through their training plans, ensuring gaps are addressed and readiness is confirmed before employees begin their roles.

  • Maintain accurate records of training completion and provide regular reports to leadership.

  • Utilize FLIGHTDECK fundamentals to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness of new hire training processes.

  • Occasionally deliver or support delivery of certain training (e.g., HR policies, orientation topics).

  • Serve as a point of contact for managers regarding training status of new hires.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years training coordination, learning & development, or related roles experience) 

  • Minimum of 3 years in training coordination, learning & development, or related roles experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work cross-functionally.

  • Experience building and managing training documentation, systems, or standard work processes.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing, logistics, or similar operational environments preferred.

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite; experience with learning management systems (LMS) a plus.
