We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Staff HR Business Partner to support our corporate functions, including Sales, Strategy, Customer Experience, Marketing, Information Technology, Finance, and Legal. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and managers, helping drive organizational effectiveness, talent strategies, workforce planning, leadership capability, and employee engagement. You will partner closely with business leaders to align people strategies with business objectives while supporting a high-performing, rapidly evolving organization.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute people strategies that support business objectives and organizational growth.

  • Act as a trusted advisor on organizational effectiveness, team design, leadership effectiveness, and talent-related business challenges.

  • Support organizational changes, including restructures, leadership transitions, and growth initiatives, ensuring thoughtful change management and communication strategies.

  • Drive talent review, succession planning, and leadership development efforts.

  • Coach managers and leaders on performance management, employee development, team effectiveness, and leadership best practices.

  • Support initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, retention, and career growth.

  • Advise leaders on complex employee relations matters, including performance management, conduct concerns, workplace issues, and conflict resolution.

  • Lead investigations and case management activities, exercising sound judgment and maintaining confidentiality.

  • Ensure consistent application of employment laws, company policies, and People Operations practices.

  • Partner with leaders to proactively identify and mitigate organizational and people-related risks.

  • Provide actionable recommendations to leaders based on talent, engagement, turnover, organizational health, and workforce planning data.

  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and other HR Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated people solutions.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR programs, policies, and processes.

  • Help shape and enhance scalable people practices that support organizational growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience as an HR Business Partner supporting business leaders.

  • Experience supporting corporate and/or customer-facing functions such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, Professional Services, Customer Success, or Service.

  • Strong employee relations expertise, including conducting investigations and resolving complex workplace issues.

  • Experience advising leaders on organizational design, change management, workforce planning, and talent management.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect people strategies to business outcomes.

  • Excellent consulting, coaching, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience using people analytics and workforce data to drive decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.

  • HR certification such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent.

  • Experience supporting global teams and distributed workforces.

  • Experience with sales compensation structures, including variable pay programs, commission plans, and incentive design principles in partnership with Finance, Sales, and Compensation teams

  • Experience in high-growth technology, robotics, engineering, software, or customer-facing service organizations.

We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas for this position.

The base pay range for this position is between $138,000 to $168,000 annually. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors including, but not limited to internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience. This range represents a good faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Boston Dynamics offers a generous Benefits package including medical, dental vision, 401(k), paid time off and a annual bonus structure.
