WHOOP is hiring a Senior Specialist, Programmatic Media to help execute and optimize the WHOOP programmatic brand media across markets globally. Reporting to the Senior Brand Media Manager, Programmatic, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation, execution, and optimization of one of the largest global media channels at WHOOP. You’ll be hands-on in our DSPs every day, ensuring campaigns across global markets are pacing, performing, and operating as intended—all with the objective of growing global brand awareness. Alongside day-to-day ownership, you’ll work directly with the Senior Brand Media Manager to support broader global programmatic strategy, planning, and key media initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the day-to-day execution of global programmatic campaigns at WHOOP, including campaign builds, QA, pacing, and overall campaign health

  • Manage creative across campaigns, including trafficking, rotations, performance analysis, and ongoing optimization

  • Analyze campaign performance to uncover actionable insights and drive optimizations across audiences, creative, and media

  • Partner cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, Analytics, and Performance Media to align programmatic execution with broader business goals

  • Support broader programmatic strategy and planning alongside the Senior Brand Media Manager, including global media plans, new channel and market launches, always-on media, tentpoles, sponsorships, and key brand initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-4 years of experience in programmatic media buying and campaign management, with strong hands-on DSP experience across campaign setup, optimization, and reporting

  • Strong understanding of programmatic channels including CTV, OLV, display, and digital audio

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify performance trends and translate them into actionable in-channel optimizations

  • Strong budget management and organizational experience, including pacing, actualization, and reconciliation

  • Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and organization, with a proactive mindset and ability to manage multiple global campaigns, budgets, partners, and deadlines

  • Experience managing global or multi-market programmatic media campaigns is a plus

  • Experience supporting brand-focused media campaigns and awareness KPIs is a plus

  • Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.

 

This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.

At WHOOP, we view total compensation as the combination of base salary, equity, and benefits, with equity serving as a key differentiator that aligns our employees with the long-term success of the company and allows every member of our corporate team to own part of WHOOP and share in the company’s long-term growth and success.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 - $110,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.

In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.

These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
