Primary Responsibilities:
- Own quality for features and initiatives from requirements through production deployment
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test suites
- Create test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on business, technical, and regulatory requirements
- Partner with developers to define acceptance criteria and ensure testability of solutions
- Validate functionality, integration, regression, usability, performance, accessibility, and security requirements
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC, promoting shift-left quality practices
- Leverage AI-powered testing tools to accelerate test creation, coverage analysis, defect detection, and exploratory testing
- Perform API, database, and end-to-end workflow validation
- Analyze defects, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with engineering teams on root-cause analysis
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and quality gates to ensure reliable software releases
- Support validation and verification activities for regulated healthcare and medical device software
- Monitor production quality metrics and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards, industry regulations, and healthcare best practices

Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering
- Experience with manual testing methodologies and test design techniques
- Experience with AI-assisted testing tools and AI-enabled quality practices
- Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC)
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, Wireshark or similar
- Understanding relational databases and SQL
- Knowledge of REST APIs, web technologies, and client-server architectures
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and source control systems (Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, etc)
- Proven solid analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Proven excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Appium, or equivalent)
- Experience testing cloud-based and distributed applications
- Experience with performance and security testing
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry
- Basic programming or scripting experience (C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, or similar)
- Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, and HTTPS
- Understanding regulatory frameworks such as FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304, HIPAA, or equivalent
