Role Overview

The Liquid AI Workflow Designer role will decompose real client and business processes into agent-ready workflows for Circana's AI agents. Reporting into the Liquid AI Product Leader, this role will partner with each product vertical to define what an agent should do, where a human needs to stay in the loop, and how handoffs between steps, tools, and people should work, translating that into clear requirements engineering can build against.

Job Responsibilities

  • Define current-state and future-state workflows for priority AI agent use cases, in partnership with each product vertical.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions with each product vertical, design, engineering, data science, and commercial teams to identify high-value agent use cases.
  • Translate business and user needs into clear agent workflows, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify process gaps, dependencies, and decision points, including where a human needs to stay in the loop versus where an agent can act autonomously.
  • Create reusable workflow standards and documentation that other product verticals can build on.
  • Partner with UX teams to ensure agent workflows and handoffs are intuitive and trustworthy for the people using them.
  • Support engineering teams by clarifying requirements throughout the agent development lifecycle.
  • Validate proposed workflows through user feedback, evaluation results, and performance data, partnering with Liquid AI Evals as needed.
  • Promote consistent workflow standards as Liquid AI's capabilities expand across product verticals.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in product operations, business analysis, process design, product management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to map complex workflows and translate them into clear, agent-ready requirements.
  • Knowledge of agile product development and software delivery practices.
  • Familiarity with AI agent or agentic workflow concepts, such as task decomposition, tool use, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, and handoffs.
  • Strong facilitation, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build alignment across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with analytics, enterprise software, or data products preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Circana Behaviors

Beyond technical skills, experience, and role-specific attributes, these shared behaviors are fundamental to our culture and success. We seek individuals who consistently demonstrate and champion these behaviors in their daily work:

  • Stay Curious: Being hungry to learn and grow, always asking the big questions.
  • Seek Clarity: Embracing complexity to create clarity and inspire action.
  • Own the Outcome: Being accountable for decisions and taking ownership of our choices.
  • Center on the Client: Relentlessly adding value for our customers.
  • Be a Challenger: Never complacent, always striving for continuous improvement.
  • Champion Inclusivity: Fostering trust in relationships engaging with empathy, respect, and integrity.
  • Commit to each other: Contributing to making Circana a great place to work for everyone.
