WHOOP is hiring a Senior Product Designer to shape the next generation of member experiences at the intersection of human performance and emerging technologies. In this role, you will lead end-to-end design of AI-first product experiences, translating complex data and intelligent systems into intuitive, trustworthy, and actionable interfaces. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to bring new, human-centered experiences to life, ensuring WHOOP remains at the forefront of innovation in health and performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead design projects from research and problem framing through to UX flows, prototypes, and polished experiences
Translate complex AI-driven insights into clear, approachable, and trustworthy interfaces.
Conduct user research and usability testing to uncover member needs and validate design decisions
Create information architectures, workflows, and interaction patterns that balance intuitiveness with technical sophistication
Prototype in Figma (high proficiency required), while also leveraging no-code/low-code tools (e.g., Cursor, Lovable, Replit) to explore real interactions
Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and data scientists to define opportunities and deliver production-ready solutions
Actively use AI in your design workflow (for ideation, prototyping, content generation, and synthesis)
Advocate for inclusive, ethical, and transparent AI design, ensuring accessibility and fairness are at the core of member experiences
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of shipped work
Proven experience designing consumer-facing digital products, particularly mobile experiences
Deep expertise in UX, interaction design, and product thinking, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems into clear solutions
High proficiency in design tools such as Figma, with strong skills in wireframing, prototyping, and workflow design
Strong visual design skills, with attention to detail and a high bar for craft and polish
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, and research teams to deliver impactful product outcomes
Familiarity with AI/ML-driven products and an understanding of key UX challenges such as trust, explainability, and transparency
Experience designing for emerging technologies (e.g., AI-first products, wearables, voice interfaces) is a plus
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and influence stakeholders
Passion for health, fitness, and helping people better understand and improve their performance
Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.
