We are looking for a Senior Manager, Sales Engineering to join our growing go-to-market team. In this pivotal leadership role, you will manage and mentor the Sales Engineering team, working closely with the Head of Solutions to define and implement strategic process frameworks and technology enhancements. You will ensure the team effectively partners with Account Executives to help prospective clients understand how the Advisor360° platform solves their challenges, supports their workflows, and drives business outcomes. This role is critical to scaling the Sales Engineering function to facilitate the rapid growth of the GTM organization.


This is a great opportunity for a technically-minded leader with a background in SaaS, a proven track record in pre-sales management, and a passion for translating complex solutions into clear business value while scaling an organization. A background in financial services or fintech is important.

Here’s What You’ll Do:
  • Team Leadership & Management: Recruit, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of Sales Engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability.
  • Process & Framework Development: Collaborate with the Head of Solutions to develop, standardize, and implement process frameworks, methodologies, and best practices for the Sales Engineering team to ensure quality and repeatable success.
  • Technology & Enablement: Drive the strategy and implementation of technology enhancements, tools, and training necessary to facilitate the team's growth and effectiveness, including managing the demo environment setup and content.
  • Solution Strategy & Sales Enablement: Oversee the team’s collaboration with Account Executives to lead discovery conversations, identify client needs, and develop compelling, commercially viable solution strategies for enterprise prospects.
  • Product Expertise & Demonstration Oversight: Ensure the team delivers high-impact, customized product demonstrations to both technical and non-technical audiences, maintaining the highest standards of technical accuracy.
  • Configuration & Customization Oversight: Provide senior oversight for translating complex client requirements into practical solution configurations leveraging the Advisor360° platform.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Act as a senior liaison, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Client Solutions teams to ensure technical viability and successful solution alignment, bridging GTM needs with product strategy.
  • Documentation & Support Leadership: Direct the team’s contribution to high-quality Request for Proposal (RFP) responses and solution documentation.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the most senior internal and external expert on the platform's capabilities, including integrations, APIs, and security protocols, and represent the team in executive-level client and internal meetings.
  • Market Intelligence: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and typical client workflows, translating insights into actionable sales strategies and team training.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • Experience: 8+ years in enterprise consulting, solution architecture, or pre-sales engineering, preferably in a SaaS or tech-enabled services environment.
  • Management Experience: 3+ years of demonstrated experience managing, mentoring, and leading technical pre-sales teams.
  • Consulting Expertise: Deep understanding of business processes, operations, and workflow optimization, with proven ability to scale processes across a growing team.
  • Technical Design: Proven ability to oversee and guide the design of data models and integrations (APIs, ETL processes), especially with systems such as CRMs, ERPs, OMSs, and Portfolio Management Systems.
  • Documentation & Prototyping: Demonstrated skill in overseeing the writing of clear business and technical requirements and translating them into prototypes or Proofs of Concept (POCs).
  • Implementation Skills: Hands-on experience with configuring, testing, and iterating SaaS solutions and developing repeatable implementation models.
  • Sales Acumen: Strong enterprise sales presence, with the ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and effectively support long, complex sales cycles at the executive level.
  • Learning Agility: A fast learner who can quickly and confidently adapt to new industries and use cases, and facilitate this learning across a team.
  • Work Ethic: Detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven, capable of managing multiple team engagements concurrently with clarity and delegating effectively.
  • Communication: Strong executive presence with excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Industry Experience: Prior experience in regulated industries, such as insurance or financial services.
    • Technical Foundation: Strong ability to fluently discuss architecture, APIs, and integration patterns.
    • Technical Proficiency: Fluent in SQL, advanced Excel skills ("wizardry"), or Python scripting. Experience with prompt engineering is a plus.
    • Emerging Technologies: Familiarity with AI, Machine Learning (ML), and automation concepts.
    • Cloud & Development: Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern software development workflows.
    • Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for technology and data, and for using both to drive superior business outcomes.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $170,000-$185,000 + bonus & equity.
