Job Brief
Join our highly motivated DevOps team as a Data Platform Engineer, where you’ll help build the next generation of high-performance data architecture. This role bridges DevOps and Data Engineering, focusing on automating data infrastructure, scaling analytics platforms, and ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and cost-efficient.
Here’s What You’ll Do:  

  • Automate and manage data infrastructure using Terraform (Azure SQL, Postgres, ADF, Databricks)
  • Configure secure networking with Private Endpoints and VNET integrations
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for database schemas, Data Factory pipelines, and Databricks notebooks using GitHub Actions
  • Monitor platform health using Azure Monitor and Dynatrace, and set up alerts proactively
  • Implement secure access using Azure Managed Identities and Key Vaults
  • Partner with Data & Analytics teams to optimize platform performance, cost, and scalability


What You Bring to the Table:  

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical role (Data Support, DevOps, or DBA)
  • Strong understanding of relational databases (RDBMS) and SQL
  • Experience or exposure to Azure data services (Azure SQL, Postgres, Azure Data Factory)
  • Familiarity with Spark or Databricks environments
  • Proficiency in Python (for data tasks) and SQL
  • Understanding of modern DevOps practices and CI/CD (GitHub Actions preferred)
  • Knowledge of cloud networking concepts (VNETs, firewalls)
  • A “data-first” mindset with a focus on data integrity and availability
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or equivalent experience

The estimated base salary range for this position is $100k–$113k plus bonus & equity.
