As the Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics, you will support and report to the US Marketing team, with a dotted-line to our UK Analytics team. You are the strategic leader in driving data analysis and insights that are actionable for the US business. You will support marketing attribution and forecasting, drive proactive site funnel and channel insights to unlock growth. This is a truly embedded role defined by deep ownership and being tightly connected top-to-bottom with targeting, creative, and MarTech infrastructure. Your work will be highly cross-functional and champion practices as part of a much broader data and analytics team.In this role, you will:Drive the next phase of data and analytics for marketing, elevating our site analytics and measurement frameworks and general analysis and insights
Drive high-level actionable analysis and insights to inform marketing strategic
Lead the next evolution of data and insights for marketing, identifying gaps and ensuring key reports, tools provide the right level of information
Deeply integrate with cross-functional data and analytics teams to align on the adoption of advanced analytical techniques by proactively collaborating with Data Science and Data Engineering teams to operationalize complex models and features.
Operate with high autonomy in a high-pace, agile environment, owning the delivery of high-impact strategic insights.
Responsibilities include:
Lead and bring to life our unified measurement framework, pulling together MMM, MTA and experiments to support the team in making informed spend decisions
Proactively deliver strategic, high-value analysis and recommendations to directly influence marketing channel plans across email, SEO, paid channels and more
Drive analysis and insights on site performance, champion the usage of Google Analytics alongside internal site data
Conduct deep dives and analyses into performance of marketing campaigns and channels
Support forecasting of annual and monthly campaign performance with the finance team
Design, execute, and interpret A/B tests and multi-variate experiments to rigorously measure the causal impact of multi-channel strategies.
Initiate and drive proactive data exploration to uncover opportunities, risks, and performance drivers across the business and marketing.
Champion data literacy and the output of the analysis team by presenting strategic findings and actionable recommendations to cross-functional teams and executive-level stakeholders
Partner with cross-functional teams, agencies and vendors to develop deep understanding of data sources and data collection as well as plans and strategies
Prioritize and effectively communicate work plans, ensuring alignment with goals and teams
10+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or Strategic Marketing Analyst, with a demonstrable track record of driving significant business value.
Expert-level proficiency in SQL and a strong working knowledge of a statistical language (Python/R) for advanced analysis and modeling.
Proven experience across multiple marketing channels including email, paid search and paid media
Deep domain expertise in marketing analytics, including hands-on experience with attribution models, including marketing mix models (MMM) and multi-touch attribution (MTA) as well as LTV predictions
Expertise of Marketing analytics systems like GA4, Salesforce, Semrush, Google Search Console, etc.
Expertise in data visualization and dashboarding (e.g., Looker/Tableau), including designing for executive consumption.
Familiarity with the evolving SEO landscape and the impact of LLMs and AI on the market (i.e. AEO/GEO or AI search engines)
Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to translate complex statistical findings into clear, strategic narratives for executive-level audiences.
The ability to proactively challenge the status quo and influence decision-making at the senior leadership level.
