Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategic Oversight:
- Lead and develop the FP&A team for the Americas DTC business, ensuring alignment with SharkNinja's overall financial and strategic objectives.
- Own the financial management process, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting of actuals for the DTC business.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth and margin optimization, ensuring the DTC business meets its financial targets.
- Partner with senior leadership to align financial strategies with long-term business goals.
Commercial Strategy & Margin Management:
- Oversee the commercial strategy for the DTC business, ensuring alignment between pricing, promotions, and product strategies to maximize profitability.
- Analyze and manage sales and margin performance, identifying risks and opportunities to improve financial outcomes.
- Provide actionable insights to drive key business initiatives, such as product launches, promotional campaigns, and customer acquisition strategies.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Lead POS reporting to track sales performance and identify trends, opportunities, and risks across the DTC business.
- Oversee financial analysis and reporting to provide clear, actionable insights to executive leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Implement and refine financial models to improve forecasting accuracy and enhance decision-making capabilities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to align financial strategies with go-to-market initiatives.
- Partner with operations and investment teams to ensure efficient inventory management, fulfillment processes, and strategic allocation of resources.
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment on financial objectives and strategic initiatives.
Process Improvement & Best Practices:
- Drive process improvements within the FP&A function to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of financial operations.
- Establish and maintain best practices for financial planning, reporting, and analysis within the DTC business.
- Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree highly preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- Significant experience in e-commerce or direct-to-consumer (DTC) financial management.
- Proven track record in leading FP&A teams, driving financial performance, and managing commercial strategies.
- Advanced skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting tools.
- Proficiency in financial planning software such as Adaptive Insights, Power BI, Domo, or similar platforms.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Experience collaborating with operations, marketing, and product teams to achieve financial and strategic objectives.
