Your Impact

As the Senior Manager,Commercial Finance, you will serve as the strategic business partner to Axon’s Next Markets sales teams (US Federal, Corrections, Justice) and drive analytical rigor and efficiency for commercial finance more broadly. You’ll play a critical role in advising on growth initiatives, optimizing operational performance, and shaping deal economics for some of the most complex and high-impact opportunities across our business. This role combines long-term strategic planning with day-to-day operational leadership, making you a key driver of Axon's continued and future success.

What You’ll Do 

Location: On-site 4x a week (Tuesday-Friday) at an Axon Hub location.  Hub Locations: Seattle, San Francisco (Presidio), Scottsdale, Boston, NYC, Sterling, Atlanta

Reports to: Senior Director, Commercial Finance
Direct Reports: N/A, Individual Contributor 

  • Act as the finance business partner to Next Markets business, supporting both strategic initiatives and operational execution across these segments
  • Own and guide the strategic investment roadmap for these segments, working cross functionality to ensure alignment with all stakeholders
  • Advise on large, complex, and strategic deals to support the continued growth in the market
  • Build and manage both short-term and long-range forecasts, aligned with global FP&A processes and market dynamics. Own the driver-based bookings forecast model.
  • Define, monitor, and report on key operational KPIs, working closely with Finance, Sales, and Operations to drive actionable insights
  • Support new market entry, pricing strategy, and commercial investment decisions with high-quality financial modeling and scenario analysis
  • Partner closely with sales leaders and cross-functional counterparts to shape Next Markets business strategy and performance
What You Bring
  • 7–10 years of total experience in Finance
  • Strong background in commercial/sales/GTM finance, FP&A, modeling, and strategic business partnering
  • Experience leading finance efforts supporting high growth sales teams and operating in a global matrixed environment
  • Excellent financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills. Advanced excel.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence across all levels, including C-suite
  • Track record of successfully navigating complex, ambiguous environments in high-growth companies
  • Preferred:
    • Background in SaaS, hardware + software models, or public tech companies
    • Experience with systems like Salesforce, Sigma, Tableau/PBI
Work Location

This role is based in a hub location and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. Base Pay Range
$141,225$225,960 USD
