The Opportunity:
We are looking for a seasoned, technically sharp analytics leader to serve as Senior Manager, Business Analytics within our Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will you will be a key driver of how Flywire measures, understands, and optimizes performance across its business; with a primary focus on product and client analytics. As a leader you will provide strategic guidance and support across the business ensuring they have the insights, tools, and self-service capabilities they need to make confident, data-driven decisions.
This is a management role with meaningful hands-on expectations. You will lead a team of Senior BI analysts while staying close to the work; designing and governing the analytics solutions that demonstrate Flywire’s value to clients, define and track the product metrics that matter most, and ensure that our reporting tells a coherent, trustworthy story across verticals and functions. You will operate as a key bridge between our clients, our product and engineering teams, and our broader Data & Analytics organization.
Anchored in governed analytics, self-service enablement, and a “Metrics That Matter” mindset, this role is critical to ensuring that Flywire’s client and product insights are not only accurate and timely, but are also working from a shared, consistent foundation. The responsibilities of the role include:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of client and product analytics professionals, fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture with clear goals aligned to business priorities
- Own the design and delivery of analytics solutions; including dashboards, reports, and data insights that demonstrate Flywire’s ROI and empower clients to make data-driven decisions
- Support the Definition and governance of the product metrics framework across Flywire’s core verticals, ensuring the right KPIs are instrumented, consistently defined, and visible to the teams that need them
- Champion a “Metrics That Matter” approach; working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Client Success to identify the measures that most meaningfully reflect payer and client outcomes, and ensuring those metrics are governed and trustworthy
- Advance self-service analytics capabilities by designing intuitive dashboards tailored to client and product use cases, enabling stakeholders to answer their own questions with confidence
- Partner with account management and client success teams to deeply understand client needs and translate them into scalable analytics offerings—balancing custom requests with reusable, governed solutions
- Collaborate with Data and Analytics Engineering teams to ensure upstream data models support client and product reporting needs, proactively surfacing data quality issues or gaps that affect client-facing outputs
- Drive cross-functional analytical alignment; ensuring that client and product reporting is coherent with the broader analytics ecosystem and that insights are discoverable and reusable across teams
- Serve as a senior thought partner on the analytics roadmap, helping prioritize initiatives that drive the most impact for Flywire’s clients and product organization
- Stay informed of industry trends and emerging capabilities in analytics and fintech to continuously elevate the quality and differentiation of Flywire’s client analytics offerings
Here's What We're Looking For:
- 7+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data science, with a meaningful focus on client-facing or product analytics
- Proven people leadership experience, with a track record of developing analytics talent and building high-functioning teams
- Deep hands-on expertise with Looker, Sigma or a comparable BI platform, including dashboard and explore design oriented toward end-user self-service
- Strong SQL skills and comfort working in a modern data stack (e.g., BigQuery, dbt)
- Experience defining and governing product or client-facing metrics frameworks; you have strong opinions about what “good” measurement looks like and how to make it stick
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for non-technical audiences, including clients and senior stakeholders
- A collaborative, cross-functional mindset. You build strong partnerships with Product, Engineering, Client Success, and other teams and bring them along on the analytics journey
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across a diverse stakeholder landscape
- Experience in fintech, payments, or a related industry is a plus
- Exposure to product analytics tooling (e.g., Heap, Amplitude) and A/B testing methodology is a plus

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $152,000 - $190,000, plus equity and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, position level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and several other factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education and training.
