What you can expect

You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing internal communication strategies and managing cultural programs, with a focus on the revenue organization. These programs foster engagement, alignment, and transparency across Zoom. Reporting to the Internal Communications Lead, you’ll be the voice and energy behind how Zoom’s global sales organization stays informed, inspired, and aligned. Partnering closely with executive leadership to craft clear, compelling messages that drive performance, celebrate success, and strengthen culture.

About the Team

The Internal Communications team manages company-wide messaging and engagement across Zoom, ensuring employees stay informed, connected, and aligned with organizational goals. This small but mighty team designs and delivers internal communication strategies that strengthen culture and clarity across all levels of the company. It operates as part of the larger Engagement & Impact Team, collaborating closely to enhance overall employee engagement and connection.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership Communication: Supporting Zoom’s Chief Sales Officer and key senior leaders in crafting and delivering effective messages, ensuring consistency in tone, style, and alignment with organizational goals.

  • Employee Engagement: Ideating and implementing initiatives and events to enhance employee engagement, morale, and a sense of connection to our customers, partners, and products.

  • Strategy Development: Developing and executing comprehensive internal communication strategies for key sales moments, including kickoffs, all-hands meetings, incentives, and recognition programs.

  • Change Management: Collaborating with senior leadership teams to create communication plans for change initiatives, ensuring clarity and understanding among Zoomies. This includes organizational shifts, compensation, product strategy, systems updates, and more.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering closely with departments including Enablement, Operations, Marketing, and People Experience to ensure communications initiatives drive revenue growth goals for the company.

  • Content Creation: Overseeing the creation and dissemination of engaging content. Focusing our revenue organization, customer wins, and partner initiatives across channels (emails, newsletters, Workvivo, presentations, etc.) to keep Zoomies informed.

  • Measurement and Analysis: Establishing metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of internal communication strategies. Using data insights to refine approaches and improve communication tactics.

  • Culture Carrier: Championing Zoom’s culture and values, helping every team member to be informed, included, and inspired. 

  • Technology Utilization: Leveraging various communication tools and platforms effectively to facilitate seamless communication and information sharing.

What we’re looking for

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in internal communications, supporting sales or people experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven experience leading regional internal communication strategies and initiatives at a global company.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity, especially in various formats across platforms and channels.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a changing environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Solid understanding of technology trends and the ability to translate technical concepts into easily understandable messages, specifically surrounding key benefits and compensation plans

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$97,600.00

Maximum:

$225,700.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
