Construction is the second-largest industry in the world—nearly 4x the size of SaaS—yet it still operates without the automated feedback loops that modern software teams rely on. Without real-time observability, issues are detected too late, contributing to over $3 Trillion in annual global waste.

Doxel brings computer vision and AI to construction, giving teams real-time visibility into progress, risk, and execution. From hospitals to data centers, and from field leaders to executive teams, Doxel is used every day to support better decisions and faster delivery. Our platform is trusted by industry leaders including Shell, Genentech, HCA Healthcare, Kaiser, Turner, and Layton.

Doxel’s automated progress tracking solution keeps teams aligned with hard facts that leave no ambiguity on where the project is today, where it will be tomorrow and what decisions need to be made to land it on schedule and on budget. This enables our customers to deliver projects, on average, 11% ahead of schedule with up to 16% savings on monthly cash flow.

Backed by Insight Partners and Andreessen Horowitz and with a rapidly growing team of engineers, scientists, construction veterans, and Enterprise go-to-market teams, we're driven to help our customers win.

Join us as we continue our journey to transform the $15T Construction Industry!

The Role

You'll build and run the core people processes that keep our team supported and growing: how we onboard and offboard, how we manage performance and career growth, and how we recognize great work. You'll also own the implementation of our HRIS (Rippling), making sure it's configured to support the team as we scale.

This is a hands-on execution role — you'll be the one actually running these processes day to day, not just designing them from a distance. You'll use AI tools to optimize and streamline these processes, track outcomes compliantly, and run more efficiently as we scale.

Your Day To Day

  • HRIS Implementation. Own the implementation and ongoing configuration of Rippling — job architecture, workflows, and system setup that supports the team as we grow.
  • Performance & Career Pathing. Run our performance review and merit/promotion cycles, including calibration. Support and help evolve our career pathing framework so growth expectations are clear at every level.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding. Build and run onboarding that gets new hires productive and engaged fast, and offboarding that's clean and professional every time.
  • Learning & Development (Employee Recognition). Own our employee recognition programs, and support broader L&D efforts that help managers and employees grow.
  • Benefits & Total Rewards. Help to support benefits administration and our annual renewal process with our broker; help ensure our rewards remain competitive, understood, and efficient.
  • Immigration & Mobility. Support immigration needs (H-1B and related) in partnership with dedicated outside counsel.
  •

What Success Looks Like

  • You're a hands-on executor who thrives running process, not just designing it
  • Comfortable using modern HR tools (Rippling or comparable) and AI-powered tools to make people processes faster, more scalable, and more efficient — while keeping compliant tracking and documentation intact
  • Credible partnering with managers on performance conversations one day, and configuring an HRIS workflow the next
  • Trusted by both employees and managers to handle things fairly and efficiently

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of HR/HRBP experience
  • Experience building from scratch at a growth-stage company
  • Hands-on HRIS implementation experience (Rippling or comparable) — configuring job architecture, workflows, onboarding/offboarding flows
  • Experience running performance review, merit, or calibration cycles directly
  • Experience supporting or building career pathing frameworks
  • Experience building or running employee recognition and/or L&D programs
  • Experience using AI-powered tools to optimize, track, and run HR processes more efficiently — with a clear understanding of how to do so compliantly (e.g., data handling, documentation, avoiding bias in AI-assisted decisions

Preferred Experience

  • Experience operating in an Enterprise SaaS company
  • Multi-entity or international HR experience
  • Experience with Pave/Carta or similar benchmarking tools
  • Experience supporting benefits administration/broker renewals
  • Experience supporting employer-sponsored immigration cases (H-1B or similar)

Doxel is an equal opportunity employer and actively seeks diversity at our company. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
