Revolution Medicines is a late-stage clinical oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins. The company’s RAS(ON) inhibitors daraxonrasib (RMC-6236), a RAS(ON) multi-selective inhibitor; elironrasib (RMC-6291), a RAS(ON) G12C-selective inhibitor; zoldonrasib (RMC-9805), a RAS(ON) G12D-selective inhibitor; and RMC-5127, a RAS(ON) G12V-selective inhibitor, are currently in clinical development. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.

The Opportunity:

This individual will partner closely with business leaders (Global Medical Affairs and Commercial Development) and cross-functional HR teams across a range of strategic initiatives, serving as a trusted advisor and thought partner to translate business priorities into people strategies that strengthen organizational effectiveness and enable sustainable growth and scale.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and member of the leadership team(s), partnering with leaders on workforce planning and organizational priorities that strengthen team effectiveness, improve operational efficiency, and ensure the people strategy evolves with business needs.

  • Champion effective communication, change leadership, and organizational integration, enabling leaders and employees to navigate growth and transformation with clarity, alignment, and momentum.

  • Coach and advise leaders on change strategies and interventions that build organizational readiness, accelerate adoption, and enable functions to thrive through periods of evolution and scale.

  • Conduct rigorous organizational and leadership assessment to identify opportunities to strengthen organizational structure, leadership capabilities, and ways of working, ensuring functions are positioned for sustainable, long-term success.

  • Collaborate closely with COEs and functional leaders:

    • Organizational Design – lead organizational design, workforce planning, talent and leadership development initiatives.

    • Talent Acquisition – execute recruitment strategies and build out robust talent capability pipelines in close partnership with business leaders.

    • Total Rewards, People Ops, & HR Technology – partner with and advise leaders on new initiatives, programs, and processes to drive effective implementation, adoption, and sustained engagement.

    • Culture, Employee Engagement and Learning – champion our core values and key engagement drivers while evolving our culture and ways of working to support the organization’s growth into a global commercial company.

  • Partner with other HRBPs to align, develop, and implement functional initiatives and scalable processes, proactively identifying opportunities and best practices that strengthen organizational effectiveness and support continued growth.

  • Provide support addressing employee relations and investigation concerns in accordance with internal policies and local/ regional legislation.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

  • 17+ years of progressive HRBP experience with a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.

  • Good biotech or pharma business acumen and ability to translate strategic priorities with organizational effectiveness and development, capabilities, and interdependencies.

  • Proven strategic HRBP focus of aligning culture with business goals, displaying strong consultative and organizational skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience building strong partnerships within function and cross-functional teams and at all levels of leadership with excellent listening, influencing, and collaboration skills.

  • Forward thinking, ability to exercise good judgement, and make decisions that are appropriate for the organization.

  • Accustomed to working in a high growth and dynamic environment where accountability, change agility, flexibility, urgency, and responsiveness are valued.

  • Good project management skills with the ability to manage projects or program implementations, including development of clear timelines/milestones.

  • Strong analytical capabilities (including Excel skills), effective at diagnosing organizational issues and demonstrated skill in use and application of data to address issues.

  • Strive for continuous improvement and embrace innovative ideas in daily work.

  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance, legislation, and best practice.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience as an HRBP at a similarly sized biotech company, with rapid growth and first NDA / Commercialization.

  • Experience defining and building processes across the HR function to support cross-functional HR effectiveness.

  • Experience working in matrixed and global environment.

The base pay salary range for this full-time position for candidates working onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA is listed below. Our base pay salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual base pay salary is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training.
