The Senior Director, Integrated Solutions - Commercial Leader is responsible for leading a team of regional Business Development Managers and accelerating global growth through enterprise-level integrated bioprocessing solutions. Reporting to the VP of Integrated Solutions, this individual will develop and execute global go-to-market strategies, cultivate strategic partnerships, and drive adoption of Repligen's integrated workflow solutions with key biopharmaceutical customers.
This role serves as a strategic commercial leader, partnering closely with regional Sales, Marketing, Technical, Product Management, and Operations teams to create customer-centric solutions that deliver measurable business value. The successful candidate will coach and develop a high-performing team, influence executive-level stakeholders, champion a culture of accountability and collaboration, and support the closure of complex, multi-product opportunities across Repligen's portfolio of equipment, automation, PAT, consumables, and services.

• Develop and execute a global Integrated Solutions growth strategy aligned with corporate objectives and regional commercial priorities, balancing long-term vision with disciplined execution and measurable business outcomes.

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of regional Business Development Managers to maximize performance, engagement, professional growth, and overall commercial effectiveness.

• Build organizational capability through talent development, succession planning, performance management, and ongoing coaching.

• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Operations, and Executive Leadership to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, align priorities, and accelerate growth.

• Drive adoption of integrated bioprocess workflow solutions that expand customer value, strengthen strategic relationships, and increase long-term recurring revenue.

• Establish and monitor key performance indicators, pipeline health metrics, forecasting accuracy, and commercial performance across the Integrated Solutions organization.

• Meet or exceed annual bookings, revenue, and profitability objectives through effective leadership, strategic resource allocation, and strong commercial execution.

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive stakeholders at leading biopharmaceutical organizations, serving as a strategic advisor and partner to customers.

• Lead executive-level customer engagements, negotiations, and strategic account planning initiatives that create sustainable value for customers and Repligen.

• Develop and execute partnership strategies with customers, engineering firms, system integrators, and other strategic ecosystem partners to expand market reach and accelerate business growth.

• Guide the identification, qualification, and advancement of complex solution-selling opportunities, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and Repligen's strategic priorities.

• Support the development of customized integrated workflow solutions that address customer business, operational, and technical challenges while delivering measurable outcomes.

• Partner with Proposal Management, Project Management, Field Applications Scientists, and Service teams to ensure successful deal execution, project delivery, customer adoption, and long-term customer success.

• Expand opportunity scope through strategic positioning of Repligen's integrated solutions portfolio and a consultative approach to solving customer challenges.

• Serve as an executive escalation point for critical customer issues and support timely resolution to protect customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership value.

• Foster a culture that emphasizes accountability, collaboration, innovation, continuous improvement, and a strong commitment to customer success.

• Maintain a strong industry network to identify emerging opportunities, technology trends, competitive dynamics, and potential strategic partnerships.

• Act as an industry thought leader and ambassador for Repligen at conferences, customer meetings, and industry events, strengthening the company's market presence and credibility.

• Provide market intelligence and customer insights to Product Management and R&D to support innovation, portfolio development, and future growth initiatives.

• Monitor evolving customer needs, market trends, and competitive activity to inform commercial strategy and help shape long-term business priorities.


Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.

• 12+ years of progressively responsible commercial sales experience within the biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industries.

• Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-product, enterprise-level solution sales initiatives while driving business growth and customer value creation.

• Minimum of 3 years of people leadership experience, including coaching, talent development, organizational capability building, and leading high-performing teams.

• Deep understanding of bioprocessing operations, including process development, manufacturing, scale-up, automation, commissioning, qualification, validation, and GMP environments.

• Strong executive-level communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills with the ability to build trust, influence decisions, and drive alignment across stakeholders.

• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders without direct authority in a highly matrixed global environment.

• Strong business acumen, financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning capabilities, coupled with sound decision-making and prioritization skills.

• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and executive communication skills.


Additional Requirements

• Located near a major biopharmaceutical hub or key customer decision-making center.

• Willingness and ability to travel globally up to 50%.

• Comfortable engaging with C-suite executives and senior business leaders, establishing credibility and influence at the highest levels of customer and partner organizations.

• Demonstrated executive presence and ability to represent Repligen at the highest levels of customer organizations and industry forums.

• Results-oriented leader with strong collaboration, accountability, organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering business outcomes.

• Self-motivated and capable of operating effectively in a highly matrixed global environment, fostering alignment, inclusion, and shared success across teams and regions.

• Demonstrated commitment to customer focus, continuous learning, innovation, and developing people in support of organizational growth and long-term success.

• Valid passport and driver's license required.

The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $210,000-$300,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's ,qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package. We offer a wide range of benefits such as paid time off, health/dental/vision, retirement benefits and flexible spending accounts. All compensation and benefits information will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
