Position Summary

The Director, Global Partner Sales, Accenture Alliance is responsible for leading and growing PTC's strategic global partnership with Accenture. This role owns the overall alliance strategy, executive relationship management, governance framework, joint business planning, and market activation required to accelerate revenue growth, pipeline creation, and enterprise customer success worldwide.

As the senior alliance leader for Accenture, this individual will build and maintain executive relationships across both organizations, establish operating and governance cadences, develop joint solution strategies, and align global and regional teams around shared business objectives. Success will be measured through alliance growth, executive engagement, joint solution adoption, partner-sourced and partner-influenced business, and the overall health and effectiveness of the global partnership. The role reflects PTC's focus on executive alignment, solution ownership, measurable business outcomes, and partner-driven growth. 

Primary Objective

Lead and grow PTC's global Accenture alliance through executive alignment, strategic planning, governance, joint solution development, and measurable business outcomes that accelerate revenue and pipeline growth worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:Global Alliance Strategy
  • Define and execute the global strategy for the Accenture partnership in alignment with PTC growth objectives.
  • Develop and maintain multi-year business plans that drive revenue growth, pipeline expansion, and market leadership.
  • Identify new growth opportunities, strategic investments, and emerging market initiatives within the alliance.
  • Establish alliance objectives, success metrics, and annual operating priorities.
Executive Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with Accenture and PTC executive leadership.
  • Establish regular executive engagement and sponsorship programs across both organizations.
  • Facilitate strategic alignment between leadership teams on priorities, investments, and growth initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary executive escalation point for alliance opportunities and business issues.
Alliance Governance & Business Planning
  • Lead the global governance framework for the partnership.
  • Conduct executive business reviews, steering committees, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Drive accountability against joint business plans and performance objectives.
  • Coordinate investments, resources, and priorities across both organizations.
Joint Solution Strategy
  • Define and prioritize joint solutions that address strategic customer initiatives and industry transformation priorities.
  • Align sales, marketing, services, and industry teams around solution-led growth motions.
  • Drive adoption and expansion of joint offerings across target markets and industries.
  • Champion innovation and differentiation through the alliance.
Global Go-To-Market Leadership
  • Coordinate regional alliance leaders and field teams to ensure execution consistency worldwide.
  • Sponsor strategic opportunities and key customer pursuits.
  • Drive global co-sell, co-marketing, and business development programs.
  • Ensure alignment between global strategy and regional execution plans.
Alliance Performance Management
  • Own global alliance performance against revenue, pipeline, and strategic growth objectives.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs that measure business impact and partnership effectiveness.
  • Identify risks, barriers, and growth opportunities within the alliance.
  • Provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
QualificationsRequired
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic alliances, partner sales, business development, or enterprise software sales.
  • Significant experience managing executive-level relationships within large global organizations.
  • Proven success building and scaling strategic partnerships that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience leading complex global initiatives across matrixed organizations.
  • Strong strategic planning, business development, and negotiation skills.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders both internally and externally.
Preferred
  • Direct experience working with Accenture.
  • Experience managing Global System Integrator (GSI) partnerships.
  • Understanding of enterprise software, digital transformation, AI, engineering, manufacturing, PLM, ALM, or industrial technology markets.
  • Experience leading alliance governance models, executive steering committees, and global business planning processes.

PTC carefully considers a wide range of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $180,000 - $240,000. The anticipated annual salary range encompasses both the base salary and the on-target sales incentive plan compensation (SIP) that may be attained in this role. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
