Caterpillar Inc. seeks Senior Digital Project Manager at its facility located at 540 W Madison, St #310, Chicago, Illinois 60661.
Ensure the successful completion of projects, on-time, within budget, and error-free. Manage the planning and execution of projects. Manage project charter, communications, metrics, reporting, and the overall project plan and budget. Support project teams and provide information starting at concept stage and continuing through prototype, pilot, implementation and follow-up stages of projects. Develop and produce project management schedules. Use professional project management tools and techniques to manage reporting, tracking charts, checklist, and project scheduling software. Manage change and take active leadership in timely decision making. Manage schedules that reflect detailed information related to changes, including effected components and functions, timelines for various stages of project completion, and cost. Work with individual team members from multiple functional disciplines and customers to establish completion dates. Monitor progress of projects, discuss problems with affected areas, assure appropriate personnel are informed of problems and steps are in place to meet schedules. Depending upon nature of problems, recommend possible solutions and alternatives. Telecommuting: up to 5 days/week. Must attend in person meetings as requested with 72-hour notice.
REQS: This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Program and Project Management or a related field, plus 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation.
Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) Certification; (2) Project manager experience focusing on agile project management; (3) Software development or testing experience; (4) Leading agile daily standups; and (5) Project management tools, such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or JIRA.

$106,194.25 - $165,840.00
