The HubSpot Customer Success Strategy and Operations team is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our team.

In this role, you will combine deep data insights with business expertise to deliver comprehensive solutions that tackle critical challenges and enhance operational efficiency and strategic outcomes. You will work directly with global leaders across HubSpot to deeply understand business performance while driving growth and productivity through data-driven decisions and strategic insights. You will develop innovative go-to-market and operational strategies, including business/pricing model transformation, retention-driving plays, and supporting our annual Customer Success revenue plan.

Data Analysts act as the technical backbone of the operation, exercising a high degree of technical autonomy to navigate enterprise-scale environments. You will be responsible for architecting scalable, reproducible data assets that serve as the single source of truth for the organization.

In this role, while you operate with a high degree of autonomy - leveraging AI tools to elevate analytical standards and drive strategic impact - you’ll benefit from the support of the Operations Analytics community, sharing ideas, debating approaches, and receiving feedback.

We are looking for people who have:
  • Academic or professional experience with a heavy quantitative, analytical focus.
  • Track record as a go-to expert for the business, playing a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making and shaping strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to build deep relationships and present strategies and outcomes to C-suite executives.
  • Passion for fostering a high-performing culture, participating in the analyst community and providing coaching and mentorship to junior analysts.
  • Experience working with large datasets, particularly regarding data mining, manipulation, and exploration in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using AI to elevate analytical standards and scale project execution without sacrificing rigor.
  • Ability to write performant, complex SQL queries and perform analysis in code-based or notebook environments to ensure workflows are reproducible and efficient.
  • Experience building commercial models (e.g., ROI, LTV) and forecasting trends to inform near-term operational decisions.
In this role, you will:
  • Be a driving influencer on the use and application of analysis; deliver what’s needed, and show what’s possible.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand your team’s data and business needs; become an expert in translating these needs into specific analyses with actionable insights.
  • Conduct quantitative analysis of user behavior to uncover issues or opportunities to improve our customers’ experience.
  • Collaborate across teams and business functions to infuse strategic, open ended research with quantitative insights.
  • Communicate insights to your stakeholders with a data-driven point of view and plan for action.
  • Navigate an enterprise-scale data environment and own the development of scalable assets that drive efficiency and data consistency.
  • Inform specific, near-term operational decisions and product roadmaps, leveraging reproducible analysis to ensure stakeholders act on high-integrity data.
