The Role

Fidelity’s Social Media team is in search of an Sr. Copywriter to support our organic social handles. A curious and conceptual creative, you’ll tap into trends, both cultural and financial, to generate likes, follows, and dialog. You are a collaborator and storyteller whose passion for social media, both personally and professionally, is obvious and infectious. You are aware that what triumphs on LinkedIn might not work on Instagram – and can churn out a:15 clip for TikTok just as easily as you can for a 4:00-minute educational video on YouTube.

Simply put – you want to make things that engage and inspire our followers. Things that help them learn. And things that make them stop and share. Together with a team of people who all want to make great work – and have fun doing it.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring 

  • 5+ years of social media copywriting at an agency or in-house for major brand(s) 

  • Deep understanding of social media, trends, and tools for platform optimization 

  • Interest in – and intimate knowledge of – emerging social media and cultural trends 

  • Strong conceptual and collaboration skills

  • Confidence to pitch and present ideas (including the wild ones) to your peers and senior leaders 

  • A desire to have fun while working hard in a fast-paced environment 

  • A killer book that shows your conceptual skills, range of thinking, and ability to write for multiple formats and platforms

  • Creating strong relationships and collaborating with other creatives and partners across the organization

  • Past financial experience is not a requirement, but a desire to learn the nuances of writing for this industry is
