Blackpoint Cyber is the leading provider of world-class cybersecurity threat hunting, detection and remediation technology. Founded by former National Security Agency (NSA) cyber operations experts who applied their learnings to bring national security-grade technology solutions to commercial customers around the world, Blackpoint Cyber is in hyper-growth mode,  fueled by a recent $190m series C round.

About the Role

We’re looking for someone who can think strategically and write exceptionally well. Great cybersecurity content isn’t about producing more blogs—it’s about having a point of view, finding the story, understanding the audience, and creating content that changes perception and drives action.

We’re looking for someone who has developed a solid content strategy, but who also loves writing. We are looking for someone who is wildly creative and can turn complex cybersecurity topics into compelling content that earns attention, builds credibility, supports sales, and strengthens our brand.

Initially, you will partner with the VP of Comms, Brand and Content on the overarching content strategy, and then deliver high-output, high-impact hands-on copywriting. You’ll own both short and long-form content across SEO, product, integrated campaigns, email, eBooks, Blogs, Research Reports, and web copy.

You’ll work closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales, and subject-matter experts to create content that moves audiences from awareness to consideration, and then action.

What You’ll Do

Build & Execute a Content Calendar

  • Develop and manage an integrated content calendar aligned with company priorities, audience needs, product strategy, and revenue goals.

  • Deliver content across campaigns, product launches, SEO, web, email, and sales enablement. Identify new opportunities based on market trends, competitive intelligence, customer questions, search behavior, and business priorities.

  • Build a scalable content engine that increases both the quality and velocity of content production.

Drive SEO & Organic Growth

  • Partnering with our SEO agency, you will deliver content mapped back to the SEO strategy, including blogs and web content that takes search intent, keywords, competitive gaps, customer questions, and emerging cybersecurity topics into consideration.

  • Create and optimize high-value evergreen and timely content designed to increase organic visibility, authority, and qualified traffic.

  • Partner with SEO, web, and demand teams to continually measure and improve performance.

Create Product & Competitive Content

  • Partner closely with Product Marketing to translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling customer stories.

Fuel Integrated Campaigns

  • Partner with Campaign and Demand Generation teams to develop the content and messaging required to launch and scale integrated campaigns.

  • Create campaign messaging, landing pages, email sequences, blogs, guides, and supporting assets—ensuring each piece connects to a cohesive buyer journey rather than functioning as a standalone deliverable.

Support the ABM Program

  • Support Account-Based Marketing programs across priority accounts, industries, and buying groups. Partner closely with Demand Generation, Sales, Product Marketing, and ABM teams to translate account intelligence, intent signals, industry challenges, competitive insights, and buyer needs into highly relevant content experiences.

  • Develop and adapt content for 1:1, 1, and 1 ABM programs, including account- and industry-specific messaging, landing pages, executive outreach, email sequences, case studies, competitive content, and other high-value assets designed to engage target accounts and accelerate opportunities.

  • Build a scalable approach to content personalization that balances relevance with production efficiency, ensuring Sales has the right content to engage key stakeholders throughout the buying journey.

Own Web & Email Content

  • Develop and continuously improve website messaging, product and solution pages, landing pages, nurture programs, campaign emails, event communications, and other conversion-focused content.

  • Partner with web and demand teams to test messaging, optimize experiences, and improve performance over time.

What We’re Looking For
  • 6 + years of content strategy with writing execution, ideally within cybersecurity.

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to make technical ideas clear, engaging, and persuasive.

  • Strong understanding of SEO, search intent, content optimization, and organic growth.

  • Experience developing content across the full buyer journey—from awareness and thought leadership through product evaluation and conversion.

  • Strong understanding of B2B buyers and how content influences complex purchasing decisions.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with executives, Product Marketing, Communications, Demand Generation, Sales, and technical SMEs.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple content streams simultaneously.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and content needs to move quickly without sacrificing quality.

  • Genuine interest in cybersecurity and the ability to quickly understand technical concepts, market trends, and competitive dynamics.

You’ll Be Successful If You…
  • Have a strong point of view about what makes B2B content work and know the difference between content that fills a calendar and content that changes perception or drives action.

  • Can take a 30-minute conversation with a cybersecurity executive and turn it into a compelling, differentiated story—and then comfortably shift from a 1,500-word thought leadership article to a product landing page, competitive asset, or five-email campaign.

  • Can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, thrive in cross-functional environments, and maintain exceptionally high standards for the quality, originality, accuracy, and usefulness of everything you put into the market.

Core Areas of Ownership

  • SEO & Editorial: SEO-driven content development, pillar content, blogs, evergreen content, emerging topics, and editorial planning.

  • Product: Product narratives, solution content, and sales enablement.

  • Campaigns: Campaign messaging, landing pages, email and nurture, guides, eBooks, and supporting campaign assets.

  • Web: Website copy, solution and product pages, conversion-focused messaging, and ongoing content optimization.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
