Based in Atlanta or Chicago
 

Responsibilities: 

  • Support the Client Management Operations team by managing client (including government, DTC companies, researchers) activities by  collecting key project metrics, organizing project performance,  and providing proactive, detailed client-facing materials for the client touchpoints and other meetings. 

  • Own client relationships and ensure meetings are held efficiently and effectively

  • Coordinate across internal stakeholders such as laboratory teams, order processing teams, finance, and customer success teams to ensure samples are moving appropriately through the lab, proactively flagging samples at risk or bottlenecks, and actioning swiftly to ensure projects meet budget and timeline. 

  • Support escalation and resolution of critical project related issues, with the ability to be resourceful and decisive without oversight. 

  • Maintain accurate, high-quality collateral and ensure extremely organized documentation across all projects and portals. 

  • Contribute ideas and expertise to internal initiatives to enhance product offerings across Tempus teams and  ensure the growing team is equipped with effective resources, guidelines, and SOPs.

Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of experience in management consulting, customer success, account management, or client-facing roles is a must have.

  • Demonstrated interest in the Healthcare industry, especially the ‘business’ side of science through prior professional or extracurricular experiences. 

  • A self-starter with strong proactive communication skills, who is highly organized and systematic with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks.

  • Energized by working with external and internal stakeholders

  • Creative and analytical mindset in order to problem solve, and confidence to ask key questions. 

  • Commitment to the success of the team; brings a collaborative attitude and the ability to create strong relationships. 

  • Skillful at working both independently and in team settings and comfortable with a fast-paced environment. 

  • Advanced skills in Google suite, Slack, Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Salesforce.com and/or Looker experience is a plus 

$70,000 - $90,000


The expected salary range may vary for other locations. Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience. Tempus offers a full range of benefits, which may include incentive compensation, restricted stock units, medical and other benefits depending on the position.
