About This Role
As a Senior Analyst in R&D Business Planning, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial health and strategic planning of our clinical pipeline at both the program and study/trial levels. This role involves partnering closely with our R&D clinical operations team and other R&D functional stakeholders to facilitate robust study planning, clinical trial costing, long-range planning, annual budgeting, and continuous forecasting. You will also collaborate with external vendors to establish and manage precise financial forecasts.
Your contributions will ensure efficient allocation of capital by providing financial insights into the Clinical Development Plan (CDP) and delivering accurate study cost estimates. What You’ll Do
- Manage forecasting needs for early-stage clinical assets, ensuring alignment across key business stakeholders.
- Utilize analytics and benchmarks to produce accurate, high-quality study models that are regularly updated.
- Meet corporate timelines and processes associated with forecasts, including AOP, LRP, and quarterly interim reports.
- Analyze historical spend to identify financial inefficiencies, propose cost containment solutions, and recommend areas for improvement.
- Maintain fiscal vigilance on program spend and trends, supporting business planning partners as needed.
- Serve as a key financial partner to study teams and Global Clinical Operations stakeholders.

Required Skills
- 3+ years of work experience in finance or a highly analytical function.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required.
Preferred Skills
- MBA Preferred
- Experience in biotech, pharma, and/or drug development preferred.
- Familiarity with Hyperion/Essbase is a plus.
Additional Information
The base salary range for this position is $74,000 to $97,000. Base salary offered is determined though an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
