Why this role?
We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Accountant with a proven ability to deliver results in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. This role is a key member of the North America finance team. You will play a vital role in process documentation, improvement, and integration, leading ongoing finance process improvement initiatives.
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll be integral to maintaining accuracy and control over financial reporting for the United States and Canada. Your success will ensure timely and accurate financial closes and provide reliable financial data for decision-making and scalable process improvements that support Snyk's company growth.
What You’ll Do:
Identify and record monthly journal entries into the Netsuite accounting system as part of the financial close, while adhering to deadlines.
Ensure each account on the trial balance is reconciled and signed off in FloQast; work with internal groups to resolve open issues.
Perform monthly flux analysis to explain material movements in account balances and headcount.
Document processes and evaluate internal controls for the cash, prepaid, fixed asset, and other general ledger cycles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as IT and the revenue team, to identify problems, develop creative solutions, and ensure accurate financial records.
Proactively identify opportunities for process automation and improvement to ensure processes are scalable and optimized.
What You Bring:
You bring 4+ years of experience in public accounting or a corporate finance department of a multinational company.
Strong Excel skills with advanced functions like VLookup and pivot tables.
You have experience working on cross-functional teams to implement new systems and create related process documentation.
You have experience preparing and providing support for SOX and external audits.
You demonstrate knowledge of AI tools like Gemini or ChatGPT, with the ability to leverage in key Accounting tasks.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Have experience working in a SaaS company.
Are Proficient in Netsuite, FloQast, Google Suite and AI Platforms.
Hold Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials.
Love solving complex problems with a collaborative team.
