The Salesforce Developer will design, build, and deploy AI agents and Salesforce solutions for Federal agencies, ensuring compliance with security standards, and collaborating with various team members for effective implementation.
Salesforce Developer - Salesforce Federal Delivery
Location: Remote (US-based). Possible in-person expectations include visits with customers, Salesforce offices, and Thunder offices in Tysons Corner, VA.
Employment Type: This is a contingent role based upon a successful bid award.
Role Summary:
We are seeking a Salesforce Developer with a specialized focus on Agentforce to join our Federal practice. In this role, you will design, build, and deploy autonomous AI agents and automated workflows within a secure, Federal Salesforce environment. You will design, develop, and deploy secure Salesforce Service Cloud and Agentforce solutions that redefine how agencies interact with constituents. You will be at the forefront of modernizing Government services, helping Federal agencies leverage AI and autonomous workflows to increase efficiency and mission delivery. This role collaborates with Technical Architects, Business Analysts, and Program Managers to implement customized, scalable, and compliant Salesforce solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and configure Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components
- Design, configure, and deploy Agentforce agents to automate complex legacy processes and user interactions
- Implement business logic, automation, and integration solutions for the Case and Knowledge objects in compliance with Federal standards.
- Ensure all developments comply with Federal security standards, including FedRAMP, NIST guidelines, and agency-specific protocols
- Collaborate with BAs and Solution Architects to translate complex mission requirements into high-impact technical designs.
- Participate in code reviews and support testing/troubleshooting during UAT to ensure compliance with strict Federal security requirements.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience specializing in Apex, LWC, and secure API integrations.
- Proven experience or deep training in Agentforce configuration, prompt engineering, and Einstein AI tools
- Prior experience integrating Salesforce into Federal legacy systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in complex, cleared environments.
- Proficiency in Apex, LWC, Flow Builder, and Data Cloud
- Experience with secure development practices, Git, and CI/CD pipelines in Federal delivery environments.
- Practical expertise in Agile methodology, including managing scrum calls and prioritizing backlogs for complex programs.
- US Citizenship required, with ability and willingness to obtain security clearance(s)
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Required: Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
- Preferred: Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist, Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, and/or Salesforce Certified AI Specialist
