As our Senior Manager of Strategic Alliance, you will fill a critical leadership role in activating major partnerships, like our Adobe relationship, that will yield significant revenue growth for Notarize in 2021 and for many years to come. This leader will develop multi-year partnership plans, cultivate and maintain strong executive relationships, and build a Strategic Alliances and Partner Activation capability for Notarize. This role is ideal for an experienced Alliances, Channel, Partnerships, or Business Development leader who has done it before successfully at a large scale within enterprise SaaS and who is excited at the prospect of building something new and big without an existing playbook. 


What you’ll do as our Senior Manager, Strategic Alliances:

  • Lead the long-term success and growth of some of Notarize’s most critical distribution and technology partnerships, starting with our Adobe relationship
  • Build deep and productive relationships with the stakeholders who matter in our partner organizations. Understand and influence incentives to drive optimal outcomes
  • Implement a repeatable partner on-boarding, activation, and growth playbook that will allow us to scale our partnerships and accelerate their growth
  • Build a high-performing Strategic Alliances team and function over time
  • Work closely with other stakeholders across Notarize, including Partner Marketing in particular, but also product, engineering, legal, and finance to scale our relationships
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the partnerships team as they pursue prospective new partners
  • Advise on deal structuring as partnerships advance to ensure scalability, incentive alignment, and long-term, mutual success
  • Plan and project manage key initiatives and efforts related to partner activation
  • Create, track and report on partnership KPI’s and revenue progress against established budgets or estimates
  • Team with internal Notarize Enterprise Sales teams and Notarize external Partners for coverage of enterprise customers, account mapping, and sales activation, as needed

What we’re looking for:

  • 8 or more years of managing and growing distribution and/or technology partnerships within a large, high-growth technology company, including extensive experience with developing Value Added Reseller and/or System Integrator relationships and partner programs
  • Proven ability to build strong, trusting relationships with external partners at the senior levels and influence their thinking and behaviors
  • Track record of taking ownership, navigating ambiguity, defining strategies, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results
  • Detail orientation, excellent organization skills, and the natural knack for diving deep on details so everything is thought through
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent presentation skills.
  • Past experience with or knowledge of Adobe, Docusign, or other document or e-signature players and their distribution models is helpful but not required
